SUNPOW Retractable Garden Hose Reel 100 ft

How it fits

If you want a quick way to put away a long hose, this wall-mounted reel takes a different approach from coiling one by hand: pull out the length you need, then let the automatic rewind system handle storage. The 100 ft hose is intended for larger yards, driveways, patios, or other outdoor areas, while the 180° swivel bracket helps it reach around the space without moving the reel. Its 5/8-inch diameter and included 10-function nozzle also suit watering and basic outdoor cleanup. It’s a great fit if you want an organized hose setup that stays attached to a wall, a loose hose remains the simpler choice if you don’t want a fixed installation.

The hose locks at the length you pull it to, so you can water a garden bed without managing the unused portion underfoot. When the job is done, a gentle pull activates retraction. For example, you could draw it across a patio to rinse the surface, then guide it back into the reel instead of winding a long hose around a hook. What matters most: do you have a suitable wall location and enough room for the hose to swing as you work? The included wall mount, bolts, and expansion tubes are part of the package, but the product details don’t specify what wall surfaces they suit.

Pros

• A 100 ft hose offers reach across larger outdoor areas without requiring the reel to be repositioned for each spot.
• The lock-at-any-length setup can keep unused hose from pulling back while you water or clean.
• Automatic rewind and a pulley guide rail are intended to make storage more controlled and reduce tangling.
• The 180° swivel bracket adds flexibility when moving between a yard, driveway, and patio.
• The 10-function nozzle gives you several spray choices, from a gentle mist to a jet.
• The stated 3/4-inch brass fittings and included nozzle provide key connection and spraying components in the box.

A practical limitation is the fixed, wall-mounted format: you’ll need an appropriate place to install it, and it won’t suit someone who wants a reel they can move between locations. The product description also doesn’t give mounting dimensions or details about the wall materials the included hardware supports, so those points may affect setup.

Spec sheet

• Name: SUNPOW Retractable Garden Hose Reel
• Type: Wall-mounted retractable hose reel
• Size: 5/8-inch hose, 100 ft long
• Material: 3/4-inch brass fittings
• Color: Gray
• Included: 10-function nozzle, wall mount, 5 bolts, 5 expansion tubes, and user manual

The nozzle’s range of patterns is useful if your outdoor chores vary: a softer spray for plants and a stronger jet for rinsing are both listed uses. The description does not provide water-flow measurements, so the 5/8-inch hose size alone shouldn’t be treated as a guarantee of a particular flow rate. The brass fittings and stated flow benefits are product details, not independent performance results. From the way it is set up, the main convenience is combining reach with guided storage rather than offering a portable watering kit.

Buying verdict

Choose this reel if a long hose and automatic storage would make watering or patio cleanup easier, and you’re comfortable mounting it in a fixed spot. The lock, swivel bracket, and included nozzle give it a more organized, ready-to-use setup than a basic hose stored loose. It’s not for you if you need a portable reel, don’t have a suitable mounting location, or want verified flow or installation compatibility details before buying. Those are the trade-offs to weigh against the convenience of keeping a 100 ft hose contained and within reach.
