Product description
For kids ages 8 and up who enjoy building together, this Christmas advent calendar turns the countdown into a hands-on holiday activity. Each day brings a new building surprise, giving families a festive project to return to throughout the season.
The 901-piece set creates a candy-inspired gingerbread house scene with figures, accessories, Santa’s sleigh, reindeer, a snowman, and a tree. An included LED light component adds a warm glow to the completed display.
Numbered packs organize the 24-day build, while the finished house gives the pieces a seasonal place to shine after the countdown. It’s a different experience from opening a calendar of small treats: the daily reveals contribute to one larger building scene.
Size & fit
The finished house measures 8.7 inches wide by 11.4 inches high, making it a compact display for a shelf, desk, or holiday table. Its house-shaped format gives the build a clear centerpiece, while the colorful candy-inspired details and included light help it stand out among seasonal decorations.
The calendar is designed for ages 8 and up and suits children, teens, and adults who enjoy building toys. For a family activity, the numbered packs provide a natural way to spread the construction across the Christmas countdown. Builders can also enjoy assembling the scene as a shared project, with the figures and accessories adding details to explore along the way.
Why it’s worth it
This set combines a daily countdown with a substantial building project. Rather than treating each day as a separate activity, the 24 numbered packs lead toward a gingerbread house display, so the anticipation builds as the larger scene takes shape. That format works well for families looking for a holiday ritual that involves making something together.
The scene includes more than the house itself. Santa’s sleigh, reindeer, a snowman, a tree, animal figures, and holiday accessories create a fuller Christmas setting for imaginative play before the build becomes a seasonal display. The LED light component adds a warm finishing touch, helping the completed scene serve as both a build and a festive decoration.
If you’re choosing between a simple countdown calendar and a construction-focused holiday gift, this one centers on hands-on building and a display that remains after the daily surprises are opened. It makes sense if the recipient enjoys assembling scenes and returning to them for imaginative play or seasonal decorating.
