WINONLY door stopper magnetic, Black Stainless Steel Magnetic Door Stops, 2-Pack

When a door needs to stay open, a holder that also cushions its return can serve a different purpose than a stop focused only on contact protection. This two-pack combines magnetic hold-open functionality with a spring-buffered catch.

The black brushed stainless steel design suits doors around the home, office, dorm, or RV. Use the magnetic catch to keep a door open for airflow or everyday access, then release it with a tug when you want the door closed.

Choose adhesive tape for a smooth, flat, dry mounting surface, or use screws for a more permanent installation. The two mounting methods let you match installation to the surface and intended use.

Getting the most from it

Position the magnetic catch so it meets the door’s corresponding contact point when the door is open. The magnet holds the door in place, while the spring buffer in the catch absorbs some of the force when the door closes against it. This makes the setup useful in spaces where a breeze, pets, or frequent movement can send a door swinging shut.

For installation, the adhesive option avoids drilling and is intended for smooth, flat, dry surfaces. It is not suited to drywall, cement, latex-painted walls, or uneven surfaces. Screws provide a permanent mounting option and are recommended by the manufacturer for longer-lasting installation. The pack contains two door stops, so you can use them in separate locations or on more than one door.

Strengths

The main advantage is the combination of holding and cushioning in one door stop. The magnetic connection helps keep a door open, while the spring-loaded buffer helps soften contact and protect the wall. A tug releases the door, making it practical for everyday transitions between rooms without permanently keeping the space open.

The two-piece set works for a range of settings named by the manufacturer, including residences, dorms, offices, hotels, RVs, campers, patios, and cabinets. Its black brushed finish gives the stainless steel hardware a coordinated look, while adhesive or screw mounting offers a choice based on the surface and whether you want a drill-free or permanent installation.

Buyers commonly praise the door stop’s function, ease of installation, appearance, and ease of use. Feedback on magnet strength and adhesive performance is mixed, so the mounting surface and installation method matter when setting it up.

Buying verdict

This WINONLY two-pack is a practical fit when you want magnetic hold-open support alongside a buffered catch, rather than a door stop that only serves one of those roles. Its stainless steel construction, two mounting options, and pair of units make it suited to placing door control where airflow, access, or regular movement makes an open door useful.
