VELCRO Brand VEL-40178-USA Fairy Light Clips, Clear, 72 Count

What matters most

For dorm rooms, apartments, and bedrooms that need flexible, nail-free lighting displays, VELCRO Brand Light Clips provide a discreet way to arrange indoor fairy lights. The clear, self-adhesive clips blend into décor while helping keep strands organized, whether you want a simple accent along a shelf or a more dramatic curtain-light display.

Choose this adhesive approach when you want to shape or refresh a layout without using nails or tools. For a subtle outline around a window, mantel, or headboard, the clear finish keeps attention on the lights, for a more expressive display, arrange strands in curves, corners, or custom patterns. The pack contains 72 clips for creating a coordinated layout across a room or seasonal display.

Tips for day-to-day use

Start with a clean, smooth surface, then peel and press each clip firmly before clicking it closed around the light strand. These clips are designed for surfaces including painted drywall, finished wood, metal, glass, and smooth tile. They are not recommended for rough or textured surfaces, so choose a smooth area for the adhesive to contact. Position the cord so it pulls away from the clip opening, and use one clip every 2.1 ft to help keep the strand arranged along its route.

When it is time to change the décor, the clips are removable, making it easier to rearrange a room or update a seasonal display. Their indoor design suits personal spaces and home décor projects where a tidy, low-profile attachment is useful.

Everyday use

Use the clips to frame windows, accent shelves, outline mantels, or create a lighted backdrop in a bedroom or dorm. Around a desk or computer setup, fairy lights can add a personalized decorative detail, along picture frames, signs, or other displays, the strand can follow the shape you want to highlight. For parties and seasonal decorating, arrange lights into Halloween-inspired outlines or add small illuminated accents to winter décor.

If your priority is a polished line of lights that follows a specific wall or display, these small clear clips help guide the strand without drawing focus from it. If you prefer a more dramatic look, use them to build cascading curtain-light arrangements or custom patterns. The same pack supports both understated accents and more elaborate layouts, so you can adapt the display to the room or occasion.
