WAIWL WA01302 Ground Anchors, 8-Pack with L Brackets and Spiral Steel Stakes
Product description
The fully welded spiral blade on each WAIWL WA01302 ground anchor engages the soil to help secure outdoor structures in place. An L-shaped bracket offers several ways to fasten a compatible post, pipe, or strap, making this eight-pack useful for a range of outdoor setups.
Use the brackets for a more direct post or frame connection, or choose straps when you need a tie-down point for a tent or canopy. The screw-in design supports either approach.
How it fits
These anchors are designed for outdoor structures such as sheds, swing sets, playsets, fences, carports, gazebos, trampolines, tents, and canopies. They can also be used with other compatible items, including boats and dog tie-outs, when the connection method is suitable. The spiral profile is intended for grass, soil, sand, hard clay, and rocky ground, giving you options for different outdoor locations.
Each anchor combines a carbon steel shaft with a fully welded, 2-inch-wide spiral blade. The broad spiral is designed to engage more soil as the stake is screwed in, while the L bracket accommodates wooden posts, vertical or horizontal pipe, and straps. Multiple bracket holes provide fastening positions, and the top opening supports strap attachment. This flexibility is useful when a setup calls for a post connection in one place and a tie-down connection in another.
Why it’s worth it
The eight-anchor set gives you multiple fastening points for a larger structure or several separate items. A rust-resistant coating helps protect the metal during outdoor use, and the solid shaft and welded spiral are designed for repeated screw-in installation. For setup, use the included 10 mm socket with a compatible power drill to drive the anchor, then the 14 mm socket for the bracket hardware. Mounting screws are included.
Buyers commonly highlight the anchors’ durability and their ability to hold outdoor items against wind. Those comments reflect individual experiences, while installation and a suitable connection remain important to how an anchor performs. For awnings, tents, or canopies, a strap can connect the structure to the anchor, for a compatible wooden post or frame tubing, the L bracket offers another fastening route.
