WAIWL WA01301 Ground Anchors, 4-Pack with L Brackets, Spiral Carbon Steel

At 19.7 inches long, each WAIWL WA01301 ground anchor combines a carbon steel shaft with a fully welded spiral blade. The broad spiral is designed to engage soil as the anchor screws in, providing a practical way to add tie-down support for outdoor structures such as sheds, playsets, fences, tents, and carports.

The four-anchor set includes L brackets for mounting to compatible wood posts, straps, or vertical and horizontal frame tubing. Multiple bracket holes offer fastening-position flexibility for different setups.

Getting the most from it

Use the screw-in anchors where an outdoor structure needs additional ground support. The L-shaped brackets accommodate several connection approaches, including wood posts and frame tubing, straps can also be used for structures such as tents, sheds, and canopies. Choose the mounting method that suits the structure, then fasten the bracket hardware securely.

For installation in ordinary soil, the included 10 mm drive socket can be used with a compatible power drill. The manufacturer recommends pre-drilling or using a hammer drill for hard clay or rocky ground. A 14 mm socket is used for the bracket hardware. These details make the kit useful for both a straightforward ground installation and a setup that needs bracket adjustment before fastening.

What you’ll notice day to day

The spiral profile gives this anchor a different approach from a simple straight ground stake: it is designed to engage more soil as it is driven in. That can be useful when adding tie-down points around a shed, securing a swing or playset, or supporting a tent or canopy outdoors. The four-piece pack lets you place anchors at multiple points around a structure, with the L brackets helping connect them to compatible posts or tubing.

Buyers commonly praise the anchors’ durability and ease of installation, and some mention that they hold firmly and help resist wind movement. Those comments reflect customer impressions, actual support depends on the ground, installation, and how the structure is connected.

Worth noting

The anchors are made of carbon steel and have a rust-resistant coating for outdoor use. Their fully welded spiral construction and 2-inch-wide blade are intended to provide a substantial soil-engaging surface. The set includes four anchors, mounting brackets, mounting screws, and installation hardware. Straps and wire are not included, so select a suitable tie-down separately if your setup requires one.
