Vortether Ceramic Table Lamp, 24.5-Inch

Highlights

For shoppers looking to add a warm, decorative light to a bedroom, living room, or entryway, this Vortether lamp pairs a textured ceramic base with a linen shade.

The shade arrives pre-assembled, you attach it to the lamp, then add an E26 bulb. That makes setup more straightforward than a shade that needs to be put together from separate pieces.

Its farmhouse and vintage-inspired look adds visual character, while the rotary switch keeps everyday on-and-off operation simple. The listing describes this as a single lamp, not a pair.

Size & fit

At 24.5 inches tall, the lamp is designed to add some height to a nightstand, end table, or console. Its linen shade diffuses light for a softer feel than an exposed bulb, which may suit winding down or reading in a relaxed setting. The listing does not give the base width, so there isn’t enough information to judge how much tabletop space it will occupy, keep that in mind if your nightstand is crowded.

The 5-foot cord gives you some flexibility when positioning it near an outlet. A protective pad on the bottom is intended to help it sit securely on a surface. The ceramic base is described as substantial, but the product details don’t state its weight, so it’s hard to compare how easy it will be to move with other lamps.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose an E26 bulb that suits the room and the kind of light you want, a bulb is not included. For example, on a bedroom nightstand, you could switch the lamp on while settling in with a book, then use the rotary switch to turn it off without reaching for a separate control. The listing doesn’t provide a bulb wattage or dimming information, so don’t assume either feature is supported.

The shade is already assembled, but it still needs to be attached to the lamp. The hand-textured ceramic finish may vary slightly in color depth and detail from piece to piece. That variation is presented as part of its handmade character, not as a perfectly uniform finish.

Questions before you buy

Does it come with a light bulb? No. The listing specifies an E26 bulb, but says it is not included.

Does the shade need to be assembled? The shade arrives pre-assembled. You still need to attach it to the lamp before use.

Will every lamp look exactly the same? The ceramic finish is described as individually crafted, so slight differences in texture and color depth are expected.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want one table lamp that contributes to the room’s decor as well as providing softly filtered light, and you prefer a pre-assembled shade to a more involved setup. Compared with a basic, purely functional lamp, this design puts more emphasis on ceramic texture and a farmhouse-vintage look. It might not be a great match if you need a matching pair, want a bulb included, or need exact dimensions for a tight tabletop arrangement. The listing also mentions a 2-year warranty, which may matter if product coverage is part of your decision.
