VEVOR JY-MY-YKW36-ZD 36-Inch Foldable Steel Fire Pit Grill Grate

For campers and outdoor hosts who want to cook over an open fire, the VEVOR X-Marks grate provides a broad, round cooking surface for grilling food or setting outdoor cookware above the flames. Its 36-inch size suits shared meals, while the foldable design makes it easier to carry and store between trips.

Set it over a campfire to grill directly, or use it with a frying pan, skillet, or pot. What could make group cooking outdoors more straightforward than having room for several kinds of food and cookware?

Why it makes sense

A 36 x 36-inch cooking area gives you space to prepare a range of foods in one place, from steaks and fish to kebabs, sausages, and vegetables. The grate is designed to hold up to 25 pounds of food for up to 8 people, making it practical for a campsite meal or an outdoor gathering. Its mesh surface also accommodates smaller items such as eggs, toast, and pancakes.

The grate sits above an open fire without assembly, and its fold-in-half design helps with carrying and storage. It also makes charcoal easier to add. Rather than bringing a separate tripod for outdoor cookware, you can use the grate as a cooking surface for pans, skillets, and pots.

Key features

Made from Q235 steel with a painted finish, the round grate has a diamond-shaped mesh top that lets heat pass through for cooking over a campfire. The product specifications state heat resistance up to 572°F / 300°C. Its 36 x 36 x 1-inch dimensions provide a wide surface for outdoor cooking, while the folding format is useful when packing gear for camping, picnics, or other outdoor trips.

Buyer feedback highlights its use for campfire cooking, with some customers noting that it sits well on their fire rings. Experiences with the grate staying flat and resisting warping are mixed: some users say it holds up, while others report bending or melting during use. Feedback on the handles also varies, so customer experiences should be viewed as individual impressions rather than a performance guarantee.

Who it’s for

This grate is suited to campers, picnic groups, and hosts who want to cook over an open fire without relying on a tripod. It can handle direct grilling as well as outdoor cookware, so a group can prepare different foods or use a pan for items better suited to a solid cooking vessel. For travel, the round surface folds in half for more convenient carrying and storage.
