rumlick HDC-312 Extra-Large Grill Mat, 100 x 39 in, Double-Sided Fiberglass

If you grill on a deck, patio, or lawn, a wide ground cover can help keep grease, food debris, and stray embers off the area beneath your cooking setup. The rumlick HDC-312 measures 100 x 39 inches, giving you a broad surface under and around an outdoor grill.

Its fiberglass construction has a heat-resistant coating on both sides, with resistance up to 2,000°F. The silicone-coated surface is waterproof and oil-proof, so spills and residue stay on the mat for straightforward cleanup.

When grilling is over, wipe the surface with a damp cloth or rinse it with a hose. The mat folds for storage and is portable for camping or other outdoor cooking setups.

What you’ll notice day to day

The extra-large footprint is useful when a compact mat would leave parts of the surrounding deck or patio exposed. Place it beneath an outdoor grill to help catch grease, food scraps, and sparks, or use it around a fire pit, fireplace, or tailgate grill setup. Its 100 x 39-inch coverage also gives households with multiple grills more room to protect the cooking area.

The water- and oil-resistant surface makes routine cleanup practical: wipe away dust or spills with a damp cloth, or use a hose for stuck-on grease and food residue. When the mat is no longer needed, fold it for storage or take it along for a camping trip. Buyers have also described using it beneath 36-inch Blackstone griddles and appreciate its coverage, grease protection, and ease of cleaning.

Key takeaways

This is a freestanding outdoor grill mat made from fiberglass, measuring 100 x 39 x 0.04 inches. Its heat-resistant coating is rated up to 2,000°F, and its silicone-coated surface helps resist water and oil. The double-sided design offers flexibility when placing the mat, while the foldable format suits storage between uses. For shoppers choosing between a small mat placed directly under a grill and broader ground coverage, this size extends protection across a larger cooking area.

For safe use, keep the mat at least 10 inches from the fire source and do not build a fire directly on it. This placement helps preserve the mat while keeping it positioned to catch splashes and debris around the grill.

Maintenance

Let the mat cool before cleaning. Wipe it with a damp cloth for light residue, or rinse it with a hose when grease or food is stuck to the surface. Allow it to dry before folding it for storage. Its waterproof, oil-resistant finish is designed to make cleanup after grilling simple without requiring a complicated care routine.

Final verdict

The rumlick HDC-312 is suited to outdoor cooks who want more coverage than a small grill pad provides. Its 100 x 39-inch format, coated fiberglass construction, and foldable storage make it a practical ground protector for decks, patios, lawns, camping, and other grilling areas. Choose it when broad coverage and easy cleanup are central to keeping the space around your grill tidy.
