VEVOR Broadcast Spreader 100 lb Capacity

A 100 lb capacity is the standout feature of this walk-behind broadcast spreader: it lets you load a substantial amount of seed, fertilizer, or ice melt before heading across the yard. The adjustable output and push-operated design are aimed at covering lawn and garden areas without carrying a handheld spreader from one patch to the next.

Its large tires are intended to help on uneven ground, while pre-installed components may make initial assembly less involved.

How to use it

Load the hopper with a material suited to the job, set the output control, and push the spreader across the area you want to cover. For example, you could walk a pass along a lawn while applying fertilizer, then adjust your path to cover the remaining ground. The product description says spreading width changes with the setting and how quickly you push, so steady walking and consistent passes matter if you want an even result. Would you rather refill a small spreader repeatedly or manage a larger hopper as you work? This model is designed around the latter approach.

The 30-scale control is intended to let you regulate material flow. The description also says output adjustment is infinite, but it does not explain how those two control details work together. It’s a great fit if you want one push spreader for seasonal lawn tasks and value fewer hopper refills. It may not suit you if you need a clearly documented spreading width or highly specific calibration for a particular material, the available width information is inconsistent.

Pros

• The 100 lb capacity and 56 L hopper are useful if you want to cover a larger area without stopping as often to reload.
• The 13-inch wheels are described as suitable for uneven terrain, which may help when moving across a lawn that is not perfectly smooth.
• A carbon steel frame with powder coating, a rust-resistant hopper, and a sealed gearbox are listed as durability features.
• Pre-installed components are intended to simplify setup, though the product information does not detail which parts arrive assembled.

Compared with a smaller handheld spreader, this design prioritizes capacity and rolling coverage over compact storage and close control in tight spaces. Its broadcast approach makes sense for open lawn areas, a more specialized spreader may be preferable when precise application details are the priority.

Spec sheet

• Type: Walk-behind broadcast spreader
• Capacity: 100 lb, 56 L hopper
• Spreading width: The product name states 0–9.8 ft, while the description states 0–9.8 inches. Confirm which figure applies before choosing it for an area where coverage width matters.
• Control: 30-scale output control, the description also claims infinite adjustment
• Wheels: 13-inch, described as all-terrain rubber tires, the product name identifies them as pneumatic
• Frame: Powder-coated carbon steel
• Other listed features: Rust-resistant hopper and sealed gearbox

The maker says the spreader is designed for seed, fertilizer, weed control, salt, and ice melt. That broad material list is useful, but it does not provide material-specific settings or application rates. For best results, use the instructions for the material you are spreading rather than assuming one setting will work for every load.

Buying verdict

This VEVOR spreader is worth considering if your main priorities are a large hopper, walk-behind coverage, and wheels intended for uneven ground. It offers a more capacity-focused alternative to small hand spreaders and lists features for use across several lawn-care seasons. The key drawback is practical, not cosmetic: the stated spreading-width units conflict, and the product details do not resolve the difference. If coverage width affects your choice, get that clarified first, if your needs are less dependent on an exact width and you want to reduce refill stops, its basic setup may suit routine lawn work.
