Umbrauto Ram Front Seat Covers, 2-Piece Set

When muddy gear, a spilled drink, or a pet ride puts your truck’s front seats at risk, a fitted cover can make cleanup less stressful. These Umbrauto covers are sold as a two-piece front-row set for Ram trucks.

The surface has a Nappa-style leatherette texture, with padding underneath and a silicone backing intended to reduce shifting. That gives the seats a more finished look than a basic loose cover, while adding a barrier against everyday messes.

If you prioritize waterproof protection and a tailored look, this setup may appeal, if you prefer a simple cover for a flat bench or need protection for the whole cabin, it isn’t the right configuration.

Where it shines

The main draw is the combination of spill protection and a closer fit for independent front bucket seats. The listing describes the covers as waterproof and wear-resistant, with a surface designed to handle spills, mud, sweat, and pet scratches. For example, after a wet dog climbs into the passenger seat, the cover is meant to keep moisture and dirt off the original upholstery rather than leaving the seat exposed.

The padded surface may also feel more substantial than a thin, basic seat protector on a longer drive. Its anti-slip backing is intended to help keep the covers in place as you get in and out, while the stated access points leave seat-belt buckles, headrest releases, and power-seat controls exposed. Breakaway stitching is described as allowing side-airbag deployment, that is a useful design detail, though correct fitment matters.

What matters most

Fit is the deciding factor here. The product description specifies independent front bucket seats with a center console and says it does not fit 40/20/40 split flat bench seats. It also includes only the front row: rear-seat covers are not part of this set. The included hooks and chucks are used to secure the covers, and the listing says an installation manual and video are provided.

There’s an important detail to sort out before buying: the product name gives a 2009–2025 Ram fit range, while the description specifies 2013–2026 models. Those ranges do not match. Check your truck’s model year and seat configuration against the seller’s current fitment information rather than relying on the title alone. From the way it is set up, this is a more tailored alternative to a universal cover, but that advantage depends on having the specified bucket-seat layout.

Best use cases

These covers make the most sense for front-seat protection in a work truck or daily driver that sees wet clothing, muddy clothes, or occasional pet rides. They are also worth considering if you want a coordinated, leatherette-style surface instead of a plain fabric protector. The Nappa look is a texture description, not evidence that the material is genuine leather.

It’s not for you if you have a split bench, want rear-seat coverage in the same package, or need confirmed fitment without checking the conflicting year ranges. The description also does not provide cleaning instructions, so don’t assume a particular cleaning method is approved.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if your Ram has the specified independent front buckets and your priority is protecting the front upholstery without using a loose-fitting universal cover. The padding, water-resistant barrier, and anti-slip backing address practical daily-use concerns, while the exposed controls are intended to keep routine seat adjustments accessible.

Skip this set if your seats are a 40/20/40 bench or if you need a complete front-and-rear interior solution. Before ordering, confirm both the model year and the presence of a center console, with the year ranges presented differently in the product name and description, fitment is the question that should decide the purchase.
