TRQ Passenger Side Mirror Assembly

If you need a replacement passenger-side mirror with more than basic glass adjustment, this TRQ assembly combines power, heat, power folding, and a puddle light. That feature mix may suit a Silverado owner replacing a damaged or failed mirror while wanting to retain those functions, rather than choosing a simpler mirror that may not match the equipment already on the truck.

The listed fitment covers specific Silverado model years, so matching the vehicle and part references matters as much as choosing the right side.

Best use cases

This assembly is listed for the passenger side of the 2019–2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD. Its powered adjustment is intended for changing mirror position from inside the vehicle, heating is useful when you want a heated mirror, while power folding and the puddle light add functions beyond a basic replacement. For example, if the passenger mirror is damaged and you park in a tight driveway, the folding feature may be relevant, the puddle light is designed to illuminate the area below the door.

Worth considering if your Silverado’s original passenger mirror has these functions and you want a pre-assembled replacement. TRQ describes the assembly as a direct replacement intended to install without modifications. That is a useful starting point, not a substitute for confirming fit: trim-level details, connectors, and other vehicle-specific requirements are not provided here. Better avoided if you need the driver-side mirror, are working with a different listed model year, or cannot verify that this assembly matches your truck’s equipment.

Use the vehicle year, model, side, and reference numbers together when checking compatibility. The reference list can help narrow down a match, but the product details do not spell out every trim or connector combination. TRQ also offers DIY installation videos for replacement parts, confirm that any video you use covers this mirror and your repair before relying on it.

Where it shines

The main appeal is replacing several mirror functions in one assembly instead of settling for a basic unit that may leave heating, folding, or the puddle light unmatched. That matters most when you want the replacement to retain the convenience features already fitted to the truck. A pre-assembled design may also reduce the work involved compared with sourcing separate components, although the listing does not describe the tools or steps required for installation.

A useful check before ordering is to compare the old mirror’s functions and available part number with the details above. The advertised fitment and “direct replacement” positioning are helpful, but they do not confirm every vehicle configuration. If you are unsure about the match, verify the full compatibility chart rather than assuming that the year and model alone settle it.

Final verdict

This TRQ mirror assembly makes the most sense when you need the passenger side for one of the listed Silverado applications and want power adjustment, heat, power folding, and a puddle light in the replacement. It is less suitable as a guess-and-install purchase: the exact trim and connector details are not stated here, so a mismatch remains a real possibility. Confirm the reference numbers and your truck’s mirror functions first, if they line up, the feature set is more complete than a basic replacement mirror.
