Tribit StormBox Micro 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker, 13W, IP68, Up to 24 Hours

The StormBox Micro 3 combines 13W audio with a compact, mountable design, so music can travel from a countertop to a backpack or bike setup. Its 48mm dynamic driver, two passive radiators, and XBass tuning bring a fuller sound profile to a speaker made for everyday outings.

Bluetooth 6.0, app-based EQ, and up to 24 hours of playback at medium volume make it easy to adapt the speaker to a trip, a gathering, or a day at home.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the strap to secure the speaker to a backpack, tent pole, or handlebar, it is designed for poles around 30mm in diameter. For stationary listening, the magnet can attach to a metal surface such as a refrigerator or campsite fixture. Magnetic mounting is intended for stationary use, not vehicles or other moving situations. Anyone with an implanted medical device should consult a physician before using the magnetic attachment.

For a bike ride or hike, pair the speaker with a phone over Bluetooth and keep the phone packed away while listening. The stated Bluetooth range is up to 45 meters. When you want a stereo setup, TWS pairing links two StormBox Micro 3 speakers, the app also offers seven EQ presets and nine EQ bands for tailoring the sound. A built-in microphone supports hands-free calls.

Strengths

The mounting options make this speaker more flexible than a portable model that needs a stable surface: use the strap when you need a secure attachment on the go, or the magnet when you have a stationary metal surface. Its small footprint and 0.34 kg weight also make it straightforward to pack for travel or hiking.

For outdoor listening, the IP68 waterproof rating and drop protection tested up to 1.22 meters add useful durability for rainy rides and rougher trails. The battery is rated for up to 24 hours at medium volume, and a 15-minute charge can provide four hours of playback when using 15W input. A full charge takes about two hours with a certified 5V/3A wall charger.

Buyer feedback often highlights the rich bass, satisfying volume for the speaker’s size, portability, magnetic attachment, and Bluetooth pairing. Reports on battery life and feature reliability are mixed, so treat those comments as individual experiences rather than a guarantee of performance.

Is it worth it?

It’s a great fit if you want one compact speaker for both attached listening on a walk or ride and stationary use at home or camp. The strap, magnetic mount, waterproof rating, and app-adjustable EQ serve distinct needs, while TWS pairing offers a way to build a two-speaker setup with another StormBox Micro 3. Choose it for portable music that can move with your plans rather than a speaker intended to stay in one place.
