Trekassy 700Lb Giant 60-Inch Platform Tree Swing, 900D Oxford Fabric

Quick overview

Families looking for a shared outdoor swing get a spacious, flat platform with room for group play, lounging, or a gentle backyard break. The Trekassy swing measures 60" deep by 32" wide and has a recommended maximum weight capacity of 700 pounds, making its open layout a practical alternative to a traditional single-seat swing.

The platform uses 900D Oxford fabric with an alloy steel frame. Adjustable ropes and two hanging straps support setup, while the blue rectangular seat offers a broad surface for sitting together or stretching out.

Usage tips

Plan the swing’s placement around its 60-inch platform and the room it needs to move freely. Use the included hanging straps and adjustable ropes as directed in the visual instructions, and set the rope length to suit the intended setup. The stated maximum compatible number of seats is four, and the manufacturer recommends the swing for ages 3 and up, keep use within the 700-pound maximum weight recommendation.

Customer feedback often highlights the platform’s generous size, sturdy feel, and straightforward assembly, especially for shared play. Reports on fabric durability are mixed, with some buyers describing tears after a few months. This makes regular attention to the fabric condition a sensible part of keeping the swing ready for use.

How to use it

Assemble the platform and ropes according to the included visual instructions, then attach the two hanging straps at the selected tree-swing setup. Adjust the ropes so the platform hangs at a useful height for the intended activity. Its flat shape supports several ways to enjoy it: children can sit together, take turns relaxing, or use the open surface for group play. For a calmer backyard moment, the platform also provides room to stretch out rather than balancing on a narrow seat.

The 700-pound weight recommendation gives families a clear shared-use limit, while the stated four-seat maximum helps with planning group play. Keep both figures in mind when deciding who will use the swing at the same time.

When it makes sense

This design suits households that want one swing for more than one person and value an open platform over a compact, individual seat. Its large rectangular surface makes shared play and lounging part of the same setup, and adjustable ropes help tailor the hanging height. The included straps and assembly instructions are useful for putting together a backyard swing setup without turning the product into a single-purpose seat.

For families choosing between a conventional round swing and a broad platform, the Trekassy’s flat 60-inch design favors shared space and varied positions. Its 900D Oxford fabric and alloy steel frame are defining materials, while the clear weight recommendation helps guide everyday use. It is a practical fit for outdoor play and relaxing together, with enough platform space to make the swing a natural gathering spot in the yard.
