Toodour Wind Chimes, 60-Inch

If you want a small accent that barely registers in the yard, a compact chime may suit you better. The Toodour is designed for a more noticeable presence, with a listed 60-inch length and a deep-tone sound.

That makes it a natural fit for a porch, patio, or garden spot where a breeze can move it. It also has a memorial purpose, with a wooden pendant and a look intended to work as outdoor decor.

If you prioritize a substantial visual feature and a resonant tone, this design may appeal, if you prefer something discreet or need a clearly documented tube count, the listing leaves a question to resolve.

Where it shines

The main draw is the combination of size and sound. The chime uses aluminum tubes in different lengths, which the maker says are manually tuned for musical performance. The description characterizes the result as deep and the product name calls out six heavy tubes. A wooden pendant adds a contrasting detail and supports its use as a sympathy or memorial gift, rather than making it feel like sound alone is the point.

Picture it hanging from a porch or patio hook: a passing breeze sets the tubes moving, adding a low, intermittent note while the chime also fills some visual space. Its listed swivel hook is intended to make hanging straightforward, and the product is described for settings including a balcony, porch, yard, lawn, or memorial room. That range is useful if you want one piece that can serve as outdoor decoration or as a remembrance gift.

There is one detail worth noticing before choosing it: the product name says six tubes, but the supplied description lists five tube lengths—23, 25, 27.8, 29.5, and 31 inches. Those statements do not fully agree, so the exact tube count is unclear from the information provided. The maker also describes the tubes as manually tuned, that is a product claim, not a sound demonstration.

Quick overview

The chime is listed at 60 inches, with aluminum tubes, a wooden pendant, and a swivel hook. Its stated sound profile is deep, and the listed tube lengths range from 23 to 31 inches. The overall presentation leans toward a large outdoor accent and a thoughtful memorial gift, rather than a small, purely decorative chime.

According to the maker, a professional tuning teacher tuned the tubes. There is no specific information here about the wood type, weather resistance, or care instructions, so those details should not be assumed. Worth considering if you want a sizeable chime with a remembrance angle and have a suitable place to hang it. It’s not for you if you need confirmed weatherproofing, a precise sound sample, or a fully consistent tube-count specification.

Best use cases

This design makes the most sense where its size can be accommodated and occasional movement from a breeze is welcome: a porch, patio, balcony, or garden. As a memorial gift, the wooden pendant and outdoor-decor purpose give it a more personal feel than a basic chime chosen only to fill a space. Before settling on a hanging spot, think about whether you want the chime to be a visible feature or a quieter background accent, its listed length points toward the former.

Is it worth it?

The Toodour is worth a closer look if the priority is a large-format chime with a deep-tone brief and a memorial-gift purpose. It offers more than a simple garden ornament in its intended role, but the available details do not establish how it sounds in person or how it holds up to outdoor exposure. Choose it when the size, look, and stated tone fit your space, and when the unclear tube-count detail is not a dealbreaker. If exact specifications or documented weather resistance matter more, a product listing that clearly supplies those details would be the safer direction.
