Key features
If you want a cell phone case that does more than just cover your iPhone 17 Pro Max, this Tongate model is built around everyday usability. The standout feature is the 360° rotating magnetic stand, so you can switch between portrait and landscape while keeping a stable viewing angle for hands-free watching, browsing, and video calls. It also combines a MagSafe compatible magnetic ring with military-grade drop protection, plus a privacy screen protector and camera control cover for added coverage. 🤳
Made with a hard PC back and a TPU shock-absorbing frame, the case is engineered to help absorb impact. The design includes 360° shockproof airbags around the corners, which the manufacturer states can withstand 18-foot military-grade drops without damage. You also get raised edge protection around the screen and camera area to help reduce scuffs and daily wear. 📱
There is also practical hardware coverage that supports day-to-day use. The camera buttons are fully covered with a smooth, responsive feel that helps prevent dust and scratches. The stand ring pairs with a non-slip textured frame to help you keep a secure grip during daily handling. 😌
What you’ll notice day to day
The 360° spin stand is designed to make your phone feel more like a mini display stand than a normal case. With stable angle adjustment from 0° to 120°, you can position your iPhone for video playback, web browsing, or video calls without needing to hold the device the whole time. Switching between portrait and landscape becomes faster because the stand is integrated into the case design. That can be especially useful for commuting, cooking, and desk setups where you want less hand fatigue.
MagSafe compatibility is another area where this case aims to reduce friction in your routine. The integrated second-generation N52SH magnetic ring is stated to be compatible with MagSafe chargers and a variety of magnetic accessories such as magnetic wallets, power banks, and car mounts. Because the magnet connection is intended to be more stable, it can be easier to attach accessories securely as you move through your day.
Keep in mind that compatibility is specific. This case is ONLY for iPhone 17 Pro Max 6.9-inch, released in 2025, so confirm your exact model before ordering. If your device is that exact size, the fit is intended to match the phone and camera layout precisely, including the raised camera lip and full coverage camera protection.

It suits you if
It makes sense if you want a MagSafe compatible iPhone 17 Pro Max case that includes a 360° rotating magnetic stand for hands-free viewing. You’ll appreciate the extra confidence of military-grade drop protection features such as the TPU shock-absorbing frame and 360° shockproof airbags, along with raised screen and camera lip coverage. Worth considering if you also want a privacy screen protector for everyday scratch and crack resistance, plus fully covered camera buttons with a smooth feel.
You may want to skip it if your priority is a bare-minimum slim case, since the included privacy screen protector and camera coverage add structure. It might not be a great match if your phone is not the iPhone 17 Pro Max 6.9-inch released in 2025, because this case is explicitly limited to that model.
