Tips for day-to-day use

The A55 can play music from a Bluetooth-enabled device or from a USB drive or TF card. For a TV or computer, the listed AUX connection and included 3.5mm cable offer a wired playback option. That gives you a choice between a quick wireless setup and using a cable when that better suits the room. The listing also describes a recording function when playing from USB or TF card.

Bass and treble adjustments let you tailor the sound, while a button controls the LED effects. The two wireless microphones make it possible to sing as a duo without adding separate wireless mics to the setup. The speaker can also be used while charging, which may be helpful when a gathering runs longer than expected. The listed Bluetooth working distance is up to 100 feet, actual suitability depends on where the speaker and connected device are placed.

Who it’s for

This system is aimed at casual karaoke, home parties, and small gatherings where portable playback, two microphones, and built-in lights are useful in one unit. A family could connect a phone over Bluetooth, choose songs, and take turns singing, USB and TF playback provide alternatives if you prefer not to stream from a phone. It makes sense if you want a self-contained karaoke speaker with more than one playback method, rather than assembling a speaker and microphones separately.

The product description also mentions outdoor events, camping, and presentations. Those uses may suit a portable, battery-powered speaker, but the provided details do not list an output-power rating. It may not suit you if you need to compare rated output for a specific venue or a more demanding PA setup, the available specifications do not establish that performance.

Buying verdict

The TOMPROAD A55 is worth considering for informal singing and party playback if its two wireless microphones, rechargeable battery, and USB/TF options match how you plan to use it. Its appeal is the combination of karaoke features and everyday speaker playback, with LED effects for a more festive setting. If your priority is choosing sound equipment by documented output ratings, look for those figures before deciding. For a home setup where convenient inputs and duet singing matter more, the A55’s listed features give you a practical set of criteria to weigh.
