TIMBER RIDGE Folding Camping Chair 500 lb Capacity
Product description
A basic camp chair can feel cramped when you want room to settle in, and reaching for a drink or phone means getting up or balancing it nearby. The TIMBER RIDGE oversized folding chair addresses those everyday annoyances with a 24 3/8-inch-wide seat, a full high back, and a built-in cup holder and cooler pocket. It is intended for adults and listed with a 500 lb weight capacity, making it worth considering for camping, games, cookouts, or time in the backyard. One tradeoff: the listed product weight is 16.85 lb, and the product details do not give its folded dimensions.
Key points
The chair combines a heavy-duty steel frame with a wide seat and a full back that includes a padded headrest. The seat is 24 3/8 inches wide and 19 3/4 inches deep, the back is 26 3/8 inches high, and the chair stands 42 1/2 inches tall. Hard armrests give you a place to rest your arms, while the cup holder and built-in pocket with cooler provide nearby storage for a drink, snacks, or a cell phone.
That setup favors having room and essentials close at hand over keeping your gear as light and compact as possible. Keep in mind that the chair weighs 16.85 lb, so carrying it over a long distance may be less appealing than bringing a lighter, simpler folding seat. The stated capacity is 500 lb, no additional fit or comfort measurements are provided.
How to use it
Unfold it at a campsite, beside a sports field, at a barbecue, or on the backyard lawn, then use the cup holder and pocket to keep a drink and small items within reach. For example, at a game, you can sit back with your phone and snack nearby instead of setting them on the ground. The padded headrest and full back suit a sit-and-relax setup better than a minimal stool, while the folding design makes it a chair to pack away when it is not in use.
The product information does not describe a carrying bag or specify folded size. If it needs to fit into a particular vehicle space or storage spot, plan around the chair's listed dimensions only with care: without that measurement, the packed fit cannot be determined from the available details.
Practical tips
Think about where you will carry and store the chair, not just where you will sit. At a backyard cookout or near a parked car, its weight may matter less, for a long walk from a parking area to a field, a lighter chair could be easier to manage. The wide seat dimensions can help you judge whether its footprint suits your space, but they do not establish how it will fit any particular person.
The pocket is described as having a cooler, but no insulation performance or capacity is given. Treat it as handy nearby storage rather than assuming it will keep food or drinks cold for a set period. Likewise, the padded headrest is specified, but the description does not say that the seat itself is padded.
Practical doubts
Is this chair easy to carry? It folds, but the listed weight is 16.85 lb and no folded dimensions are provided. Those details matter if portability or compact storage is a priority.
What can you keep close by? The chair has a cup holder and a built-in pocket with cooler, described for a drink, snacks, or a phone. No pocket dimensions or cooling duration are stated.
Where is it intended to be used? The listed settings include camping, sporting events, barbecues, and backyard lawn use. The product details do not specify weather resistance or care instructions.
When it makes sense
It makes sense if you want a roomy folding chair with a full back, padded headrest, hard armrests, and small-item storage for relaxed outdoor sitting. Compared with a basic lightweight seat, this design offers more built-in comfort features and a place for a drink, but asks you to accept a listed weight of 16.85 lb. Not the best choice if your main priority is a chair that is especially light or whose folded size is confirmed for tight storage, neither compactness nor packed dimensions is established in the product details.
