Throw Pillow Covers, 22x22 Inch

Key points

The burgundy hydrangea print brings a noticeable floral accent to a sofa or bed without requiring a full room refresh. The design is printed on one side, so the back stays simpler.

Each cover measures 22x22 inches and is made from polyester linen fabric. The listing describes it as breathable and soft to the touch.

The two-piece set includes covers only, not pillow inserts. An invisible zipper opens for inserting or removing a cushion, which also makes it easier to switch the covers when you want a seasonal change.

Keep in mind that the floral print is on one side, if the pillows will be seen from every angle, the plain reverse may matter. The covers are listed for indoor spaces and outdoor gardens, but no weather-resistance rating is provided, so avoid assuming they are suited to prolonged exposure to the elements.

Maintenance

Care instructions allow hand washing or machine washing in cold water, followed by tumble drying on low. Bleach and ironing are not recommended. That makes routine cleaning fairly straightforward, though the care details do not specify whether the print needs any special treatment beyond those instructions.

The zipper is described as smooth and easy to use, so removing a cover before washing should be a simple part of upkeep. For a first wash, keeping it separate from items that might snag the fabric is a sensible precaution, especially if you want to preserve the printed surface.

Practical tips

Because inserts are not included, check that you already have 22x22-inch pillow forms or plan to source them separately. Fit can affect the finished look: a cover that is too loose may appear slack, while a fuller insert can give the square shape more definition. The product details do not specify the best insert size or fill, so use the measurements as your starting point.

For a quick living-room refresh, place one cover at each end of a neutral sofa and let the burgundy flowers add color against a quieter backdrop. The same floral accent could work on a bedroom chair or in a car, both listed uses, though the single-sided print will show best when the pillow is positioned with its front facing outward.

Compared with a plain, reversible cover, this set puts more emphasis on a seasonal decorative print than on a design that looks the same from both sides. A solid pick if you want a coordinated floral update and already have suitable inserts. Not the best choice if you need complete pillows, a reversible pattern, or confirmed outdoor weather performance.

Before you decide

Are pillow inserts included? No. The listing specifies that the covers do not include inserts.

Is the design printed on both sides? No. The floral print is described as a single-side design.

How should the covers be washed? Hand wash or machine wash in cold water, then tumble dry on low. Do not bleach or iron.

Is it worth it?

These covers make sense when the goal is a fast decorative change rather than buying ready-to-use pillows. The 22x22-inch size, burgundy hydrangea print, and invisible zipper give you a clear style and format to work with, while the two-cover set can help create a matched look. The tradeoff is that you supply the inserts, and the one-sided pattern will not give the same finished appearance from every viewing angle. Choose them for a floral seasonal accent in a room or sheltered garden setting, look elsewhere if you need inserts included or dependable information about exposure to outdoor conditions.
