LYSHIN Silk Pillowcases, 19 Momme

After a night of tossing and turning, friction from a pillowcase can leave hair tangled or skin creased. LYSHIN’s silk cases are designed to make that contact smoother.

The set includes two King Size pillowcases in champagne, each with a zipper. They’re made from 19 momme mulberry silk.

The appeal is straightforward: a softer-feeling surface for your nightly routine, without adding another product to your hair or skin care lineup. The benefits are supportive, not a promise to treat acne or prevent wrinkles.

Size & fit

These are King Size cases, so they’re intended for king-size pillows rather than a one-size-fits-all setup. The listing doesn’t give pillowcase dimensions, check the size of your pillows before ordering if you need an exact fit. A zipper helps keep the pillow enclosed, which is useful if you move around during the night. From the way it is set up, this favors a closed, tucked-in fit over an open-ended pillowcase.

The champagne color gives the pair a coordinated look, and two cases mean you can cover a matching set of pillows. For a quick bedroom refresh, picture changing both pillowcases at once and having the same smooth surface on either side of the bed.

Pros

The smooth silk surface is intended to reduce friction against hair and skin. That may be especially appealing if you wake up with tangles, frizz, or sleep lines, though individual results will vary. The product description also highlights silk’s breathability and moisture handling as potential comfort benefits across different seasons, that doesn’t guarantee you’ll sleep cooler.

Do you want a pillowcase that fits into your routine without asking you to change how you style your hair? This set is designed for that kind of low-effort use. It may also suit people with sensitive or acne-prone skin who prefer a soft fabric, but it isn’t a substitute for skin care or medical advice.

Compared with choosing a basic cotton case, the reason to consider silk here is its smoother feel and lower-friction positioning. The product description also claims less friction than satin and cotton, but it doesn’t provide independent testing to confirm how that difference will feel in everyday use.

When it makes sense

Worth considering if you want two matching king-size pillowcases and are mainly looking to reduce the rubbing that can contribute to frizz, tangles, or morning creases. The zipper and coordinated pair make the set a practical fit for a bed where both pillows use the same size and color.

It may not suit you if your pillows aren’t King Size, or if you expect a pillowcase alone to resolve acne, hair damage, or sleep discomfort. Care instructions and durability details aren’t included in the product information, so buyers who need clear upkeep guidance may prefer a set that spells those out. Choose it for the silk surface and two-case format, skip it if the size or missing care details leave too much uncertainty.
