Compatibility

The Type B, three-prong plug is designed for a compatible outlet. The USB-A and USB-C ports support devices that charge through those connections, including smartphones and tablets. Four AC outlets provide connections for standard plugs, so this layout can suit a shared desk, guest room, or travel setup where several devices need access to one outlet. The USB output is shared across connected devices, making it useful to plan which items to charge together.

Getting the most from it

The four-sided outlet arrangement gives plugs space in different directions and is designed to accommodate up to four AC plugs without blocking one another. Place the extender in an accessible outlet, then use the AC sockets for compatible plug-in devices and the USB ports for smaller electronics. Fold the prongs down before packing it in a bag or storing it in a drawer, the compact body is easy to carry for a cruise, business trip, or overnight stay.

A conventional power strip is a better fit when you need a cord to reach across a room. This wall-mounted extender is the more direct approach when the goal is to expand one outlet without setting a strip on the floor or desk. Buyers often appreciate its compact size and the combination of AC and USB connections for travel and everyday charging. Feedback on simultaneous USB-C use is mixed, so the stated shared USB output is a useful guide when charging several devices at once.

When it makes sense

Choose this TESSAN extender for a compact charging point in a home office, dorm room, guest room, or travel bag. For example, it can provide AC outlets for a laptop charger and other compatible plugs while USB cables charge personal devices nearby. The foldable plug supports easy packing, and the four AC outlets plus four USB ports bring common charging connections together in one wall-mounted unit.
