JcBlaon MP-XPYK-SIT0 Surge Protector Outlet Extender, 6 Outlets, 4 USB Ports

A nightstand or home-office outlet can get crowded when you need to plug in several devices and charge a phone. The JcBlaon MP-XPYK-SIT0 combines six AC outlets with four USB ports, including two USB-C ports. This three-pack also includes 1050J surge protection. One important USB-C limit: it is not Quick Charge 3.0 and does not support devices that require 9–22V charging.

Key specifications

• Type: Wall outlet extender with surge protection
• Quantity: 3 units
• AC outlets: 6 per extender
• USB ports: 4 per extender, including 2 USB-C
• Surge protection rating: 1050 joules
• Electrical rating: 15A, 125V, 1875W
• Plug type: Type A, 2-pin
• Dimensions: 7.1"L x 3.7"W

The outlet layout is intended to give plugs more room than a standard 1.5-inch spacing, with 2.15 inches between AC outlets listed in the product details. That can be useful when setting up several everyday devices in one spot, while the USB ports leave some AC outlets available for other plugs. The 15A and 1875W ratings are maximums, not a reason to exceed the product’s stated limits, use it within its rated power range.

Usage tips

For a home office, bedside setup, or kitchen counter, the extender can consolidate wall-powered devices and USB charging in one location. The listing names cameras, coffee machines, DVD players, and fans among compatible AC devices, and phones, tablets, and other USB devices for USB charging. Check the ratings of the devices you plan to connect and keep the combined load within the extender’s limit.

Installation is described as plug-in, with a screw available to secure the unit to a duplex outlet and a lower plastic prong for reinforcement. The product instructions say that the plastic prong needs to be cut off before use with a USB receptacle or GFCI outlet. That detail matters if your intended outlet is one of those types. For USB-C, the stated charging support has a narrower scope than a dedicated high-voltage fast charger: devices needing 9–22V are not supported.

In the box

The product is listed as a three-pack of outlet extenders. The instructions also refer to an included mounting screw for securing an extender to a duplex outlet, the listing does not specify the number of screws in the package.

Practical questions

Can it protect connected equipment from surges? The stated surge protection rating is 1050 joules. This is a defined protection rating, not a guarantee against every power event.

Can I use the USB-C ports for Quick Charge 3.0? No. The product information says USB-C does not support Quick Charge 3.0 or devices requiring 9–22V charging.

Will it work with a GFCI outlet? The instructions say to cut off the plastic reinforcement prong before using the extender with a GFCI outlet. Follow that instruction only if the outlet type and installation are appropriate for your setup.

Should you buy it?

Worth considering if you want several wall extenders that combine AC outlets, USB charging, and surge protection in a single plug-in unit. It takes a different approach from a basic USB wall charger by also providing six AC outlets per extender, which can help when a room has limited plug access. Buyers appreciate the added outlets and USB ports, but feedback on reliability is mixed, some report problems, including units in the pack that did not function properly. Better avoided if consistent operation across all three units is essential, or if your USB-C devices need Quick Charge 3.0 or higher-voltage charging.
