Teal Elite TE122 20 x 40 ft Heavy-Duty Tarp, 12 Mil HDPE, Blue

Who it’s for

Cover a boat, pool, camping area, or stored gear with a single large tarp that can be secured around its perimeter. The Teal Elite TE122 measures 20 x 40 ft, making it suited to broad coverage needs, a smaller tarp may be easier to handle when you only need to protect a compact load or area. It suits you if you want a waterproof cover with regularly spaced grommets for tying it down.

What you’ll notice day to day

The tarp is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and is 12 mil thick. Its blue surface offers a straightforward way to cover equipment, cargo, or outdoor items, while the waterproof and UV-resistant features support use in exposed settings. Dust resistance is also listed, which is useful when covering items between uses or during storage.

Metal grommets are spaced 18 inches apart from center to center, giving you multiple points around the tarp for securing it with suitable tie-downs. Reinforced edging and stitching add structure along the perimeter. For a camping setup, boat cover, or yard project, this layout lets you fasten the tarp at several points rather than relying on a single attachment area. The listed weight is 10.66 kg, a practical consideration when moving and positioning a cover of this size.

What to know

The listed size is 20 x 40 ft, with product dimensions of 480 inches long by 240 inches wide. The tarp is intended for indoor and outdoor coverage, including camping, fishing, boats, RVs, cars, pools, and cargo. Choose it when the priority is covering a wide area, for a small item or a limited section, a smaller-format tarp may be a more manageable fit.

Customer feedback often highlights the color, functionality, and overall quality. Durability impressions are mixed: some buyers describe lasting outdoor use, while others report grommets pulling out. Feedback also varies on perceived thickness and size, so plan your setup around the listed dimensions and use the grommets as distributed fastening points rather than relying on isolated attachment spots.
