Tcksstex Waterproof Dog Blanket Couch Cover, 52 x 82 in, Ivory
Product description
For dog owners who want to protect a sofa or bed from pet hair, spills, and everyday paw traffic, the Tcksstex waterproof blanket adds a washable layer over furniture. Its ivory color and solid pattern suit a simple, understated look, while the 52 x 82-inch rectangular size gives you a generous surface to arrange over a couch or bed.
Use it as a furniture cover at home, or take it along as a picnic mat when you need a portable surface outdoors. The anti-slip backing is designed to help keep the blanket in place, for a heavier pet, tuck an edge into the sofa crevice for added hold.
Practical tips
Spread the blanket over the area your dog uses most, such as a favorite sofa seat or the foot of a bed. The waterproof construction features an internal TPU coating, with multiple fabric layers intended to help filter liquids and stains. It’s designed to guard furniture from saliva, spills, and scratches during ordinary pet use. Sharp claws or forceful chewing can damage the fabric, so redirecting that behavior helps preserve the cover.
For care, machine wash at around 30°C, avoid bleach, and keep the wash cycle around 10 minutes to help maintain the effectiveness of the anti-slip particles. If you need a cover that stays on one piece of furniture, arrange and tuck it in place, if your priority is a mat you can carry between locations, its picnic-mat use offers another practical option.
Why it’s worth it
Instead of relying on a throw that only covers the surface, this blanket combines a water-resistant barrier, a soft polyester top, and a non-slip underside in one cover. The construction includes a thickened fiber-cotton layer for softness and cushioning, plus a waterproof membrane. That makes it useful for shared spaces where a dog relaxes on the couch by day and on the bed at night. It can also serve as a washable bedspread, so you can use the same cover in more than one room.
Buyers often praise its appearance, washability, and usefulness for catching pet hair and spills, and some say it stays put on their furniture. Feedback on staying in place and water resistance is mixed, so thoughtful placement—especially tucking an edge into the sofa—can help suit the cover to your setup.
Key points
The blanket is made with a 100% polyester fabric top and a layered construction that includes a TPU waterproof coating and anti-slip particles underneath. It is ivory, rectangular, and measures 52 inches deep by 82 inches wide, with a listed height of 0.1 inch. Its care instructions call for machine washing at around 30°C, without bleach, and a wash time of about 10 minutes. These details make it a practical choice for a washable protective layer rather than a fitted cover tailored to a particular sofa shape.
