The dial adjusts the helmet’s circumference, while the chin strap lets you fine-tune how it sits. The listed size ranges provide a practical starting point when choosing a fit, measure the child’s head and match it to the circumference range. For a first skateboarding lesson or a scooter ride around the neighborhood, the helmet and pads make it easy to have several protective pieces ready together rather than assembling a set from separate items.
How to use it
Adjust the dial and chin strap so the helmet fits comfortably before riding, then put on the knee and elbow pads and wrist guards for the activity. The set is intended for a range of wheeled activities, including biking, inline skating, scooter riding, and skateboarding. Its broad use makes it useful for families whose children switch between a bike ride and time on a skateboard or scooter. The 11 ventilation holes and soft lining are practical details for active sessions, while the lightweight construction helps keep the gear manageable to carry between home and a riding spot.
Buyers often praise the helmet’s adjustability, comfort, and appearance, and some appreciate having multiple protective accessories together. Fit feedback is mixed, particularly about pad sizing, and reports on wrist-guard durability also vary. These are useful points to keep in mind when fitting each piece and choosing how the set will be used.
Included in the package
The set includes one helmet, two knee pads, two elbow pads, two wrist guards, and a storage bag. Keeping these pieces together can make it easier to get ready for a family outing or put the gear away after a ride. It also offers a coordinated alternative to choosing a helmet and each set of pads separately, especially when a child is starting more than one wheeled activity.
Practical questions
How do I choose between the two helmet sizes? The S size adjusts for a head circumference of 48–54 cm, and the M size adjusts for 54–58 cm. Measure the child’s head and use the corresponding range as your guide.
Can the helmet be adjusted after choosing a size? Yes. Turn the adjustment dial to change the fit around the head, then adjust the chin strap for a comfortable position.
Which activities is the set intended for? Recommended uses include cycling, inline skating, scooter riding, and skateboarding, so the gear can accompany children across several common wheeled activities.
Should you buy it?
The FX-001 is a useful choice for families looking to equip a child for biking, skating, or scooter outings with a helmet and matching pads in one set. Its adjustable fit, ventilation, and included storage bag support straightforward preparation and storage, while the range of intended activities gives the set flexibility as a child explores different ways to ride.
