Taoqimiao MS045W Cat Tree for Large Cats, 72-Inch Tower with Hammock

For homes with large adult cats, a roomy place to climb, scratch, and rest can make better use of vertical space. The Taoqimiao MS045W combines a 72-inch tower with multiple lounging spots and scratching surfaces. Want one indoor setup that serves several cat activities? Its platforms, condo, hammock, and sisal posts bring them together.

Technical overview

The seven-level, floor-mounted cat tree measures 19.7 x 15.8 x 72 inches and is made with engineered wood, plush, and sisal. Its layout includes a widened condo with a plush interior, an extra-large lower platform, and a top perch for elevated lounging and looking out over the room. A metal-frame hammock and hanging basket add two more resting spots, the hammock is rated to hold up to 30 lb.

Scratching options include an oversized, one-piece board and five sisal-wrapped posts. Two bell pom-poms and a silent pom-pom provide additional play details. Compared with a low scratching post or a single-platform perch, this tower combines climbing, resting, and scratching areas in one vertical structure. That makes it a practical fit for an indoor cat space where a variety of activities and elevated resting places matter.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place the tower on a level indoor floor and use its levels to create different options for climbing and lounging. Cats can settle inside the condo, stretch out on the broad lower platform, or choose the top perch as a lookout. The hammock and hanging basket offer alternative places to curl up, while the sisal surfaces give cats dedicated spots to scratch.

The manufacturer describes the design for large cats and says it can accommodate three to six adult cats. Buyers have praised the appearance, assembly directions, and perceived sturdiness, while feedback about size is mixed, some say it does not match the listed dimensions. The stated measurements can help you plan where to position it and how it will fit with your existing cat furniture.

What you get

The package includes the cat tree, a screw pack, and an installation manual. Its integrated setup brings the condo, platforms, hammock, basket, scratching board, sisal posts, and pom-poms together, so the main climbing, resting, and scratching features are arranged in one piece of furniture. Follow the included instructions during assembly, then position the finished tower in the indoor area where your cats can access its levels.

Buying verdict

The Taoqimiao MS045W is designed for cat owners who want a tall, multi-activity tower suited to large adult cats. Its 72-inch height provides an elevated perch, while the widened condo, large platform, hammock, and basket give cats several places to rest. Five sisal posts and the oversized scratching board round out the setup with dedicated scratch zones. Choose it when you want one indoor structure for climbing, lounging, and scratching rather than separate pieces for each activity.
