SwiftGrip Nitrile Exam Gloves

What matters most

For people who need disposable gloves for food prep, salon work, light cleaning, or basic examination tasks, SwiftGrip’s black nitrile gloves are designed for frequent changes and close hand movement. They’re latex-free, ambidextrous, and described as snug-fitting, with textured fingers intended to help with dexterity. That combination makes them relevant for tasks where bare hands are not appropriate but a bulky glove could get in the way.

The product is offered in Small, Medium, Large, and XL, with boxes of 50 or 100 gloves and a case option. A solid pick if you want one disposable glove format for several light-duty settings rather than separate gloves for food service and salon work. Keep in mind that the listing does not provide glove thickness or detailed protection ratings, so it does not establish suitability for demanding or high-risk work.

How to use it

These are single-use gloves, not something to wash and reuse. The stated uses include food handling and prep, healthcare and examination, household cleaning, and esthetician, barber, or salon tasks. For example, you could put on a pair to portion ingredients, remove it when switching to another task, and use a fresh pair as needed. The maker describes them as waterproof and odor-free, but gives no care instructions or specific guidance for chemical exposure.

They’re made from nitrile rather than latex, which may be useful for people avoiding latex gloves. The snug, stretchy fit is intended to conform to the hand, while the finger texture is meant to support handling. Fit still depends on choosing a suitable size, the available size labels do not provide measurements to help you compare hand dimensions.

Practical tips

Choose the size you normally need before selecting a box or case. The case is listed as color-coded by size, which can help distinguish sizes when keeping more than one on hand. Smaller boxes make more sense for occasional use or trying a size, the larger case is aimed at higher-volume glove changes. The listing gives packaging choices, but does not specify how many gloves are included in each individual box beyond the stated counts.

Think about the job, too. For a quick food-prep task or light salon work, disposable nitrile gloves can be convenient because you can change pairs instead of cleaning a reusable glove. For work that calls for a stated thickness, specific chemical resistance, or a defined medical-grade standard, this listing does not provide enough detail to confirm a match. Not the best choice if you need documented protection specifications for a specialized task.

Practical doubts

Are these gloves latex-free? Yes. The product is described as latex-free nitrile, which may suit people who avoid latex. The listing does not make a broader claim about every possible skin sensitivity.

Can they be used for food prep? The description identifies them as food-grade and lists food processing, food prep, and food handling. It does not give additional food-contact certifications or usage instructions.

Are the gloves sized for both hands? They’re described as ambidextrous, so either glove can be worn on either hand. Sizes listed are Small, Medium, Large, and XL, but no sizing measurements are provided.

Buying verdict

SwiftGrip’s disposable nitrile gloves make sense for routine, light-duty tasks where latex-free material, finger texture, and easy glove changes matter more than detailed performance specs. They cover several everyday use cases, from handling food to salon work, and the box and case options let you choose a quantity based on how often you use disposable gloves. If your work depends on verified protection levels, precise fit measurements, or suitability for a demanding task, the missing specifications are a meaningful reason to look for a more fully documented option.
