SunPatio Grill Cover, 58 Inch
Product description
What matters most
A grill left outdoors can collect dust, get soaked in rain, or take a beating from sun and wind. This SunPatio cover is designed to shield compatible grills from those everyday conditions with fade-resistant fabric and a waterproof vinyl coating.
It measures 58”W x 25”D x 44.5”H. The listed fit includes Weber Genesis II 3-burner grills and Genesis 300 Series models, with specific exclusions, it also claims compatibility with other grills up to 56”W when their dimensions are similar. That makes it a more tailored choice than a generic cover, but the model and measurements matter as much as the advertised width.
How to use it
Pull the cover over the grill and adjust the fastening straps on both sides to help keep it in place. A practical example: after cooking, once the grill is ready to be covered, the handles give you a place to grip while pulling the cover down, they can also serve as loops for hanging it when it’s off the grill.
The fabric is described as resistant to fading, tearing, and cold cracking, while the waterproof coating is intended to help protect against rain and snow. Those features suit a grill that stays outside through changing weather, though the listing does not provide a care or cleaning method. Follow any care guidance supplied with the cover rather than assuming a particular washing routine.
Practical tips
Check your grill’s width, depth, and height against the cover dimensions before buying. The listing specifically says it does not fit 2022 Genesis 300 Series, Genesis 400, or Genesis 1000 grills. For other brands, compare the actual shape and size rather than relying on burner count alone. Without that measurement, a cover described as compatible may still be a poor fit.
The adjustable straps are useful when wind could catch loose fabric, but they are not a substitute for choosing the right size. It makes sense if you want a fitted outdoor cover for a compatible three-burner Genesis or a similarly sized grill and value handles for easier removal. Not the best choice if your grill falls into an excluded series, is wider than the stated fit range, or has dimensions that differ substantially from the listed cover.
Before you decide
Which Weber grills are listed as compatible? The description names Genesis II 3-burner, Genesis 300 Series, and Genesis II LX 300 Series grills, but excludes 2022 Genesis 300 Series, Genesis 400, and Genesis 1000 models.
Can it fit a grill from another brand? The listing says it can fit other popular three- to five-burner grills up to 56”W when their size is similar. Check all dimensions before choosing it.
What helps keep it from blowing away? Adjustable fastening straps on both sides are designed to secure the cover. The handles also make it easier to put on, remove, or hang for storage.
Buying verdict
This cover is worth considering when its dimensions match your grill and you want a waterproof-coated barrier with straps for a yard or patio where wind, rain, dust, or sun are concerns. Its specific model exclusions are important, and the broad cross-brand fit claim is not a guarantee for grills with unusual proportions. If exact fit is uncertain, compare your grill’s measurements and model against the listing before choosing this over a less tailored, universal cover.
