GENIMO ARM 6x9 Outdoor Rug, Washable Polyester, Charcoal Natural

The low-pile, washable design makes the GENIMO ARM 6x9 Outdoor Rug practical for spaces where tracked-in debris and everyday spills are part of the routine. Its charcoal-and-natural geometric pattern has a jute-inspired look, while the polyester construction and PVC backing offer a different approach from a rug made of natural jute.

It measures 108" L x 72" W and is listed for indoor and outdoor use, including patios, decks, porches, and living rooms.

What to know

This rectangular area rug pairs a woven-looking surface with a machine-made polyester construction. The jute-style appearance can suit farmhouse, modern, or more relaxed decor without being a natural-jute rug. Its charcoal-and-natural color palette and geometric, checkered pattern give it a defined look that can work under an outdoor dining setup or in a sunroom.

The low pile is a practical detail for a high-traffic area, and the product is described as shed resistant. A PVC backing is intended to help the rug stay in place, though the available details do not say that it will grip equally well on every floor or deck surface. The rug is also described as quick drying, but it is explicitly listed as not water resistant. That distinction matters: it is designed for indoor and outdoor use, yet it should not be treated as a waterproof floor covering.

A solid pick if you want a washable, jute-look rug for a patio or indoor space and prefer polyester over natural jute. It may not suit you if water resistance is a key requirement or you specifically want a rug made from natural fibers.

Cleaning & care

For routine upkeep, the care instructions include shaking off debris, vacuuming, wiping with a damp cloth, or hosing it off. The product is also listed as machine washable, which gives you an option for deeper cleaning. Follow the care guidance for the rug and your washing machine rather than assuming every cleaning method is appropriate for every soil or stain.

Its quick-dry construction is presented as helpful after rain or spills, but that does not remove the stated lack of water resistance. For a covered porch, deck, or sunroom where a washable surface is useful, those care options may be more relevant than they would be for a spot that needs a waterproof mat.

Usage tips

At 6' x 9', this rug can define a dining area or anchor a seating space on a deck, patio, or in a living room. Measure the intended footprint before choosing a placement, especially if furniture legs need to sit on the rug. The stated thickness is 0.5 inches, so consider how its edge will meet nearby flooring or a doorway.

The non-slip backing is a useful feature to consider on a deck or indoor floor, but surface conditions still matter. Place it on a suitable, clean surface and check that it lies flat where people walk. For an exposed area that regularly stays wet, the not-water-resistant specification is an important reason to consider a product specifically described as water resistant instead.

Before you decide

Can it be used indoors and outdoors? It is listed for both, with rooms and settings including living rooms, patios, decks, porches, and backyards.

What is the rug made of? The rug is polyester, with a polyvinyl chloride backing. Its jute-like appearance is a style detail, not a natural-jute material claim.

Is it waterproof? No. Although the product is described as quick drying and washable, its water-resistance level is listed as not water resistant.

Final verdict

The GENIMO ARM is worth considering when the priority is a 6' x 9' geometric rug with a jute-inspired appearance, indoor/outdoor placement, and several listed cleaning options. Its polyester surface and PVC backing distinguish it from a natural-fiber rug, while the washable design may suit busy household areas. Choose it with the water-resistance detail in mind: it is presented for outdoor use, but not as a waterproof solution for persistently wet locations.
