Sturdum Golf Chipping Game Set, 6x6ft

Families who want a shared activity that gets kids involved while giving adults a chance to practice chipping may find this set more engaging than a basic target toss game. It combines a hitting mat, adjustable clubs for kids and adults, sticky balls, and a scoreboard, so you can start a round without assembling the pieces yourself. The 6x6ft target creates a defined play area for a backyard, playroom, or family gathering. Just make sure the space you have can accommodate it.

Quick overview

The main appeal is that this is both a golf practice setup and a casual family game. Adults can use it to work on chipping accuracy, while kids can try the targets, keep score, and get familiar with simple golf play. The scoreboard adds a friendly competitive element without requiring anyone to treat the activity like a serious practice session.

The aluminum frame connects with push buttons and is designed for setup and takedown without tools. Storage bags are included for carrying and organizing the set, which gives it more flexibility than a fixed backyard target. The product is presented for indoor and outdoor use, including playrooms, yards, parties, and camping trips, the large mat still makes available space an important part of the decision.

Best use cases

This setup makes sense for families who want one activity that can shift between casual practice and a small group game. For example, set it up in the yard, give each player a turn with the sticky balls, and use the scoreboard to track a round. Kids can focus on aiming and taking turns, while adults have a reason to work on controlled chips rather than simply tossing a ball at a target.

It can also suit indoor play when there is enough clear floor space. Keep in mind that the 6x6ft mat takes up a substantial area, so a small room or a crowded campsite may not leave much room to move around it. If storage and portability matter, the included bags and quick-release frame are useful details, if you only need a compact target, this is a larger setup than necessary.

Tips for day-to-day use

Pick a level area with room around the mat, then connect the frame using its push-button design. Before starting, decide how players will take turns and use the scoreboard, that keeps a mixed-age game moving and gives younger players a simple way to follow along. The adjustable clubs are intended for both kids and adults, though the product information does not specify their adjustment range, so it does not answer every question about fit for a particular player.

After a session, gather the sticky balls and store the components in the included bags. That should make it easier to keep the game together between uses or move it to another play area. Compared with buying a small, fixed target for a single player, this set puts more emphasis on a shared activity and a larger play zone.

Questions before you buy

What is included? The set includes a hitting mat, adjustable golf clubs, 40 sticky balls, a scoreboard, and storage bags.

Can kids and adults both play? The clubs are described as adjustable and suitable for kids and adults. No specific adjustment measurements are provided, so the fit for an individual player is not detailed.

Is it intended for indoor use? Yes. It is described for indoor and outdoor play, but you will need enough open space for the 6x6ft mat and room to play around it.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a portable family game that can also give adults a way to practice chipping, and you have room for a large target area. The clubs, balls, scoreboard, and frame make it a more complete shared activity than a simple target alone. You may want to skip it if you need a compact setup, want detailed club-fit measurements before buying, or are looking for a dedicated practice tool rather than a game for different ages. Its strongest case is combining casual play and basic chipping practice in one portable set.
