Popdarts 198715980950 Rookie Pack Suction Cup Dart Game, Indoor & Outdoor

What to know

Bring a quick head-to-head game to a family game night, a lunch break, or a get-together outside. The Popdarts Rookie Pack uses suction-cup darts that stick to smooth surfaces, so players can aim for a target marker on places such as a countertop, window, or glass door. Its beginner-friendly rules make it easy to get a game going without batteries or a complicated setup.

The set is designed for two to four players and uses two dart colors for opposing sides. A carrying bag with printed rules helps keep the game together between sessions, whether it’s headed to another room or packed for a trip.

Cleaning & care

The silicone darts can be rinsed when they get dirty or placed on the top rack of a dishwasher. For a good grip during play, choose a smooth, nonporous surface such as glass, a window, or a countertop, rough or porous surfaces are not suited to the suction cups. Once play is over, return the pieces to the carrying bag.

The rules keep scoring straightforward: the dart closest to the target marker earns three points, while each other dart that sticks earns one. The beginner set uses a closest-to-the-marker approach rather than landing on the marker itself. Teams use cancellation scoring, so the higher-scoring side takes the difference for the round, the first team to reach 21 points wins.

Best use cases

This pack suits family game nights, casual indoor play, and outdoor get-togethers where a smooth playing surface is available. The compact, portable format also makes it easy to bring along for a visit or trip. Because players compete by aiming for the marker, it offers a simple skill-based activity for friends and families who want a break from screens. Buyers often highlight the game’s easy learning curve, portability, and appeal for group play, along with how well the darts stick to many surfaces.

Compared with a traditional dartboard setup, Popdarts lets players use a suitable smooth surface as the playing area, with the target marker defining where to aim. The Rookie rules are intended to help new players join in, while the different dart colors make it easy to distinguish sides. The set includes six Rookie Popdarts—three in each of two colors—one target marker, a carrying bag with a built-in ruler and printed rules, two Rookie Crew stickers, and a bonus Pro Popdart. The Pro dart offers a way to try a different dart as players become familiar with the game.
