Soundcore Space 2 D1402 Over-Ear Headphones with ANC, LDAC and 50-Hour Playtime

For travelers looking to reduce engine, traffic, and subway noise, the Soundcore Space 2 combines active noise cancellation with an over-ear design for listening on the move.

Its battery supports up to 50 hours of playtime with ANC on, giving long trips more room between charges. A five-minute fast charge provides up to four hours of listening.

LDAC wireless audio, Hi-Res Audio in wired mode, and app-based sound customization give you practical ways to tailor how you listen at home, at work, or on the go.

Why it makes sense

The Space 2 is built around travel-friendly listening. Its four-stage noise-canceling system targets low-frequency sounds such as engine hum, traffic rumble, air conditioning, and subway noise. When you want to hear more of your surroundings, switch to Transparency Mode. For a quieter break, Nap Mode in the soundcore app provides built-in soundscapes.

For music and video, the 40 mm double-layer diaphragm drivers support detailed highs and strong bass. You can listen wirelessly with LDAC or use the wired connection for Hi-Res Audio. The soundcore app adds an 8-band EQ, preset modes, and a HearID personalized hearing test, so you can adjust the sound to suit what you’re playing.

An ergonomic headband and slow-rebound memory foam ear cushions with protein leather are designed for extended listening. Buyers also commonly praise the sound, comfort, and noise cancellation, with some noting the fit stays comfortable during long viewing sessions.

Quick overview

These over-ear headphones connect wirelessly over Bluetooth 6.1 and support dual connection, making it possible to connect with two devices. A detachable cable and 3.5 mm headphone jack provide a wired listening option, while USB-C handles charging. Wearing detection, clear calls, and app control add useful everyday features. The listed package includes the headphones, an AUX cable, and a travel pouch.

Compared with basic wireless headphones focused mainly on casual listening, the Space 2 brings noise cancellation, a transparency option, and both wireless and wired audio modes together. That mix is useful when your listening needs shift between a commute, a flight, and a desk setup. Buyers also highlight battery life and Bluetooth connectivity, including convenient switching between devices.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose ANC when you want to reduce steady background sounds, or Transparency Mode when you need to stay more aware of your surroundings. For a short rest, activate Nap Mode through the soundcore app. If you are traveling with limited time to charge, a five-minute charge provides up to four hours of listening, for longer sessions, the stated playtime is up to 50 hours with ANC on or 70 hours with ANC off.

Use the app’s EQ and preset modes to adjust playback for different content, or connect the detachable cable when you prefer wired listening. For a movie on a laptop or a call while keeping a phone connected, dual connection supports use with two devices.
