Sony wireless earbuds, White

For everyday listening that needs to move between a phone, a laptop, and the outside world, the Sony WF-C510 keeps the setup simple: compact true wireless earbuds with multipoint connection and an Ambient Sound Mode. Battery life is rated for up to 11 hours from the earbuds, or up to 22 hours with the case, so the case matters when you’re away from a charger. There’s also a built-in microphone for hands-free calls and IPX4 water resistance for sweat and splashes.

Key points

The main convenience here is multipoint: the earbuds can connect to two devices and switch between them, which is useful when a call comes in while you’re listening on another device. Ambient Sound Mode is intended to help you stay aware of your surroundings, rather than fully shutting out the world. DSEE is included to improve the quality of compressed music files, and the microphone lets you take calls without reaching for your phone.

Charging details are practical for day-to-day use: a five-minute charge is rated for up to one hour of playback. Keep in mind that IPX4 is described for sweat and splashes, not immersion, so these aren’t the choice for swimming. The fit is described as light and compact, but no fit dimensions or range are provided, without that measurement, anyone who needs a precise sizing reference has less to compare before buying.

Best use cases

These make the most sense for everyday listening, calls, and moving between two connected devices without repeatedly pairing. Picture taking a call on your phone while a laptop is also connected, then returning to music without changing earbuds. Ambient Sound Mode may also suit walks or other situations where you want some awareness of nearby activity.

A solid pick if you want small, wireless earbuds with useful switching and a stated battery total that includes the case. If your priority is a detailed fit specification or water protection beyond splashes and sweat, a product with those details clearly stated would be a better match.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the case as part of your battery routine: the up-to-22-hour figure includes it, while the earbuds themselves are rated for up to 11 hours. The quick-charge claim is useful when you have little time before heading out, but it is a short-term top-up rather than a replacement for keeping the case charged. For a commute, Ambient Sound Mode gives you an option when you’d rather remain aware than listen in isolation. After a sweaty session, remember that IPX4 covers sweat and splashes, the product description does not claim waterproofing for submersion.

Questions before you buy

Can I connect the earbuds to two devices? Yes. Multipoint connection is listed for switching between two devices.

How long does the battery last? The earbuds are rated for up to 11 hours, with up to 22 hours total when the case is included. A five-minute charge is rated for up to one hour of playback.

Can I use them for hands-free calls? Yes. A built-in microphone is included for hands-free calling.

Buying verdict

You may want to skip it if you need a documented fit measurement, stronger water protection, or a battery claim that applies to the earbuds alone for longer than the stated up-to-11-hour figure. For everyday calls and listening, the appeal is the combination of compact design, two-device switching, ambient sound, and quick charging—not a long list of specialized details. Choose it when those practical features match your routine, look elsewhere if precise fit information or use in water is essential.
