SONGMICS ULTB743E01 Double Trash Can, 2 x 8-Gallon, Stainless Steel
Product description
Made from stainless steel with a silver finish, the SONGMICS ULTB743E01 brings two waste compartments together in one rectangular bin. Its 23"L x 14.6"W x 25.2"H footprint gives you a single place to sort everyday trash and recycling indoors.
Two removable inner buckets make it easier to separate waste at the point of disposal, then lift each bucket out when it is time to empty or clean it. The pedals open the lids hands-free, while soft-close action helps keep everyday use quieter.
Need the lid open while preparing a meal or changing a liner? Open it with the pedal, then lift it by hand to keep it open for longer tasks. A bag-retaining feature helps hold liners in place, and the lids conceal the bag edges for a neat appearance.
What stands out
A double bin offers a straightforward alternative to placing separate waste and recycling containers around the kitchen. With two 8-gallon compartments in one unit, you can sort common household waste without giving up a second spot on the floor. The removable buckets have handles for carrying and cleaning, and their bag holes help keep liners positioned as you use them.
The stainless steel body and chamfered lids give the bin a clean, modern look suited to a kitchen, dining room, or living room. Side handles make it easier to move the unit when cleaning or rearranging the space. For a busy kitchen routine, step-on pedals allow hands-free opening, and the lids can be held open during tasks that require repeated access.
Key features
Each compartment has a soft-close lid, so the bin is designed to close without a loud clang. Scent pods attach to the lids, the package includes an empty pod and two refills. Insert a refill into the empty pod and attach it to the lid before use.
The included 15 bin bags let you set up the bin right away. The inner buckets also work with SONGMICS 8-gallon trash bags, code H. In a practical kitchen setup, one bucket can be used for general waste and the other for recycling, keeping both within reach while you cook or clean up.
Buyer feedback highlights the modern appearance and usefulness for sorting waste in smaller spaces. Opinions are more mixed on the size, lid operation, durability, and handling the bags, so consider how the stated dimensions and two-compartment layout fit your routine.
Care & maintenance
For routine cleaning, wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and use a mild cleaning agent if needed. Keep acidic or corrosive substances away from the surface, if something acidic, such as lemon juice or vinegar, spills on the bin, wipe it off promptly. To help care for the pedal mechanism, avoid forcing the lid closed by hand. When using the scent feature, place a refill in the empty scent pod and attach it to the lid.

Is it worth it?
This double bin is suited to households that want waste sorting, hands-free access, and removable buckets in one indoor container.
