The foot pedal opens the lid without requiring hand contact, a practical detail when carrying food scraps or cleaning up after a meal. Inside, the bag rings hold the liner in place and tuck excess slack out of sight, helping keep the bin looking neat during daily use.

Best use cases

These bins suit kitchens that need a full-size waste container, and the two-pack also gives you a second bin for another household or work area. Glad identifies them for residential and commercial use, including kitchens and offices. Compared with buying one bin for a single location, a two-bin set is useful when you want the same capacity and appearance in more than one spot.

A typical use is placing one near the main kitchen work area and the other where household or office waste is collected. The step pedal lets you open the lid while your hands are occupied, while the rectangular shape offers a straightforward fit alongside kitchen cabinetry or in a utility area. Each bin’s listed dimensions can help you plan where it will sit.

Usage tips

Fit the trash bag inside the can and use the interior rings to secure it and tuck in loose edges. When disposing of waste, press the pedal to open the lid rather than lifting it by hand. This setup is especially handy during meal preparation, when touching the lid can interrupt cleanup.

Customer feedback often highlights the size, appearance, and ease of changing bags. Experiences with pedal operation and bag retention are mixed, so shoppers’ impressions of those details vary. The built-in rings provide a clear way to hold the liner in place as part of regular use.

Final verdict

Choose this Glad set when you want two coordinated, 13-gallon plastic bins with pedal-operated lids, odor protection, and interior bag rings. It’s a practical fit for kitchens and other residential or commercial spaces where hands-free access and a secured trash liner make everyday disposal more convenient.
