Sondery SBR-9 Mini Clean Boost Pedal with True Bypass and Low/High EQ
Product description
The Sondery SBR-9 pairs a clean boost with separate Low and High controls, so you can shape the frequencies that matter as you adjust your guitar or bass signal. Its mini enclosure keeps the pedal’s footprint compact on a board.
Want more control than a simple level boost? Low adjusts frequencies under 250Hz, while High adjusts frequencies above 1KHz. Each can add or reduce up to 14dB, and the Level knob adjusts the output.

True bypass switching lets you move between the effect and bypass, with an LED indicating its status. The analog pedal uses 1/4-inch input and output connections and is powered by a 9V DC adapter.

The two frequency controls offer a different approach from a straightforward boost pedal that only raises the output level: you can adjust the low and high ranges independently, then set the overall level to suit your signal chain. Turn a control to its center position for no change to that frequency range, turn it clockwise to boost or counterclockwise to cut. This gives you a practical way to refine the tonal balance as well as the output.

Who it’s for
The SBR-9 suits guitarists and bassists who want a compact pedal for clean signal boosting with added low- and high-frequency adjustment. It can be placed in a pedalboard setup when you want to make targeted tone changes without adding a larger pedal. For example, adjust Low and High to shape the ranges you want, then use Level to set the output before switching between the effect and true bypass.

Its small enclosure measures 3.7 by 1.9 by 1.66 inches, and the rubber pad helps keep it stable on a surface. The aluminum alloy housing and diamond-cut edge give the Art Design Series pedal a distinctive look while keeping its controls and connections accessible. A solid pick if you want a clean boost with more tonal control than a level-only design.

Included in the package

A user manual is included. The 9V DC power adapter is not included, so use a compatible adapter with positive barrel polarity and negative center polarity. The pedal does not use batteries.
Final verdict

The Sondery SBR-9 brings clean boosting, independent low- and high-frequency adjustment, and true bypass together in a compact pedal. It’s suited to players who want to fine-tune their guitar or bass signal and keep their board setup streamlined.
