Smiry Dog Couch Cover, 27.6" x 88

Pet hair, claws, and everyday lounging can make a sofa harder to keep clean. This Smiry couch cover gives your dog a soft place to settle while putting a washable layer between pets and the upholstery. Its fuzzy flannel surface is intended for comfort, and the non-slip backing is designed to help it stay put on a sofa.

The main trade-off is straightforward: this is a furniture protector, not a waterproof barrier or a complete sofa set. Measure the spot you want to cover before choosing this single piece.

Size & fit

This piece measures 27.6" x 88", so think of it as a long, narrow cover rather than a full sofa slipcover. It may suit a sofa seat or another elongated surface, but the exact fit depends on your furniture’s shape and the area you want protected. For an L-shaped or sectional sofa, the product information says multiple pieces are needed, one cover will not protect every section.

A practical check before buying: measure the seat or furniture area, then compare those dimensions with the cover. If your dog tends to jump onto one particular cushion, you could place the cover there and use the remaining exposed upholstery as a guide to whether you need more coverage. On faux leather, the backing may not grip as securely, the product instructions suggest tucking the edges into seat crevices or adding a thin non-slip pad.

Pros

• The soft, fuzzy flannel surface offers a comfortable lounging spot for pets and people.
• A non-slip backing is intended to reduce shifting during everyday use. From the way it is set up, secure placement still depends on the sofa surface and how the cover is positioned.
• The dense weave is described as helping keep pet hair on the surface, where a lint roller or vacuum can remove it.
• It is machine washable. The care instructions specify a cold, gentle cycle and low tumble drying, they also advise avoiding fabric softener and using a mesh laundry bag.
• Beyond sofa protection, the product description lists use on a car seat, bay window, pet crate, or floor.

One important limitation: the cover is not waterproof. It can help with fur and everyday wear, but it is not the right layer to rely on for liquid spills. It is also sold as one piece, not as a coordinated set, so larger furniture may need additional coverage.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you want a soft, washable surface over a specific sofa area and mainly need help managing pet hair, scratches, and routine wear. Picture a dog hopping onto the same seat each evening: the cover can make that frequently used spot easier to clean without covering the whole room’s furniture. Compared with an ordinary throw, its non-slip backing and pet-focused use are the draw, a full slipcover makes more sense when you need broader upholstery coverage.

Better avoided if you need waterproof protection, want one piece to cover an entire sectional, or have slick faux-leather furniture and do not want to tuck the edges or add a pad. Check the dimensions against your furniture before choosing, especially because the listed size is a single long piece rather than a complete sofa set.
