Smiry Couch Cover 27.6" x 59

High-density flannel gives this Smiry couch cover a soft, thick surface for pets to lounge on while adding a layer between everyday fur and your sofa. The grip-dot backing is designed to help keep the cover in place when a dog hops up or down.

It’s a single cover, not a complete sofa set, so the stated size matters when you’re deciding how much of your seating area it will cover.

The tradeoff is important: this cover is not waterproof. It’s intended to help with pet hair, dirt, and light scratching, not spills or wet messes.

Highlights

The flannel surface makes a cozy spot for a dog or cat to nap beside you, and the cover can help shield sofa fabric from routine wear, loose fur, and muddy paws. Grip dots on the backing are meant to reduce bunching and sliding during everyday use. That can be useful if your pet settles in one place, then shifts around or jumps off and back on.

The cover is machine washable on a gentle cycle. The care instructions recommend shaking off loose fur first, it can be dried on low heat or air-dried flat. Those options make routine cleanup more manageable, though they don’t change the main limitation: moisture can pass through because the cover isn’t waterproof.

Quick sizing guide

This cover measures 27.6" x 59" and is listed for a sofa with 2–3 cushions or a loveseat. Measure the seating area you want to cover before choosing it, sofa names alone don’t tell you whether one piece will provide the coverage you expect. Each cover is sold individually, so don’t assume the package includes enough pieces for a full sectional or every seat on a larger sofa.

The listing notes that manual measurements may vary by 1–2 inches. If your sofa is close to the cover’s dimensions, that difference could affect how it sits. This is a more targeted choice than buying a full slipcover: it covers a specified area rather than promising a fitted wrap around the entire couch.

Tips for day-to-day use

Lay the cover over the area your pet uses most, then smooth the grip-dot backing against the sofa. For example, if your dog curls up on one cushion after a walk, this can give that spot a washable surface that’s easier to lift and clean than the sofa upholstery itself. The backing is designed to help anchor the cover, but the fit still depends on your sofa and how your pet moves.

Shake off loose fur before washing, use a gentle cycle, and choose low heat or flat air-drying. For wet paws, spills, or accidents, the non-waterproof fabric won’t provide a moisture barrier, you’ll need another way to protect the upholstery.

Before you decide

Is this a full sofa set? No. The cover is sold by the piece, so check how many areas you need to protect.

Can I machine-wash it? Yes. The care directions specify a gentle cycle, with low-heat drying or air-drying flat.

Will it fit my sofa? It’s listed for a 2–3 cushion sofa or loveseat and measures 27.6" x 59". Compare those dimensions with the seating area you want covered, allowing for the stated measurement variation.

When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want a soft, washable surface for a pet’s favorite section of a sofa and the listed dimensions suit that spot. The grip-dot backing and flannel feel give it a different purpose from a waterproof protector or a full fitted slipcover: it’s aimed at everyday lounging and loose dirt, not liquid spills or complete couch coverage. You may want to skip it if you need a waterproof layer, a guaranteed full-sofa fit, or more than one piece without buying covers individually. The fit and coverage are the key details to settle before choosing it, on the spec sheet, the stated size is specific rather than universal.
