Simple Houseware CB-10C-I 3-Tier Metal Rolling Utility Cart, Khaki

Everyday use

At 12.5" D x 17" W x 31.5" H, the Simple Houseware CB-10C-I is a three-tier metal cart designed to keep frequently used items together while making them easier to move around indoors. Its open mesh baskets offer visibility and airflow, which can be useful for organizing pantry goods, art supplies, laundry items, or office materials. Curved metal handles provide a place to guide the cart, and the khaki finish gives it a more understated look than a plain utility cart.

It works for a different need than a fixed shelf: use it when supplies may need to move between rooms, rather than stay in one spot.

What you’ll notice day to day

The three baskets separate items by task or category, so household supplies need not be stacked into one container. Four 2-inch casters support movement, and two can lock to help keep the cart stationary when parked. The open sides make it easier to see what is stored, though they offer less concealment than closed drawers or cabinets.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights easy rolling, sturdy construction, and useful storage for household items. Size opinions are mixed: some find the cart well sized, while others say it feels smaller than expected, particularly the top tier. That makes the listed overall dimensions worth considering alongside the space you have and the items you plan to store. It suits you if you want mobile, open storage for everyday supplies, It might not be a great match if you need enclosed storage or a stated weight rating, which the provided details do not give.

Questions before you buy

Does the cart have locking wheels? Two of its four casters are lockable, which helps keep the cart in place when you are using it as stationary storage.

Are the basket dimensions listed? The available measurements give the cart’s overall dimensions, not the dimensions of each basket. Buyer comments also differ on the size of the top tier, so avoid assuming all three tiers offer the same usable space.

Is a weight capacity provided? No weight limit is included in the available product details. If you plan to store heavy items, that missing figure may matter when comparing it with a cart that specifies a load rating.

Is it worth it?

This cart is most relevant when you want open, movable storage rather than a stationary organizer. The three baskets, metal construction, and two locking casters cover practical everyday needs across rooms such as a kitchen, laundry area, garage, or office. For example, it can keep art materials grouped together and let you roll them where a project is happening, then lock the cart in place. Choose a fixed shelf if mobility is unnecessary, or look for a larger or enclosed organizer if you need more defined capacity or hidden storage. The reported variation in size expectations is a reason to compare the overall measurements with your intended space before choosing it.
