Shintenchi Patio Furniture Set, 5-Piece

This set is aimed at people who want a ready-made place to sit and talk outdoors, with a coffee table included rather than seating alone. Its five-piece modular design can be arranged to suit a patio, backyard, balcony, or porch, so it offers more layout flexibility than a fixed furniture grouping. Removable, machine-washable cushion covers and a glass-top table add practical touches for everyday use. One important planning detail: the product information doesn’t give dimensions, so you’ll need to measure your space before deciding whether the pieces will fit comfortably.

Highlights

The Shintenchi set combines PE rattan with a heavy-duty metal frame, and its description presents the construction as weatherproof, fade-resistant, and rustproof. That makes it a candidate for an outdoor seating area exposed to changing conditions, though the listing doesn’t specify how the materials perform in every climate or how long they’ll retain their appearance. The cushions are removable and their covers are machine washable, the coffee table has a glass top.

The modular layout is useful when a space doesn’t suit a standard fixed arrangement. You can separate the pieces to work around a balcony or porch layout, or bring them together for conversation and a small gathering. The classic wicker look is intended to work with a range of outdoor décor, but the listed color combination—brown rattan and gray cushions—is worth considering alongside your existing furniture.

Care tips

For routine cleaning, the product information says the water-resistant wicker surface can be wiped with a damp cloth. The cushion covers can be removed and machine washed, which is handy after everyday use. No washing temperature, cycle, or drying guidance is provided, so follow the care instructions supplied with the set rather than assuming a particular laundry setting. The glass tabletop gives you a smooth place for coffee or conversation, but it also means you’ll want to keep the surface clear of items that could scratch or damage it.

Practical tips

Before assembly, sketch out where each piece might go and measure the available area, including room to move around the table. The description calls assembly easy, but it doesn’t provide assembly time or details about the tools required. Keep in mind that the listing also doesn’t specify the exact dimensions or the individual seating-piece breakdown, which makes it harder to judge fit and capacity from the product details alone.

For a relaxed afternoon, arrange the seats around the table with drinks within reach, when the space needs to stay open, spread the pieces out or move them to the edges. It makes sense if you want a coordinated outdoor conversation area with washable cushion covers. It might not be a great match if you need confirmed measurements or a stated seat capacity before buying. From the way it is set up, flexibility is a stronger selling point than detailed sizing information.

Before you decide

Can you change the layout? Yes. The product is described as modular, with pieces that can be arranged separately to fit different outdoor spaces.

Is assembly required? The listing describes the set as easy to assemble, but doesn’t give a time estimate or assembly details.

Is it intended for gatherings? It’s described for everyday relaxation, family time, and small gatherings, as well as use on a patio, backyard, balcony, or porch.

Should you buy it?

Choose this set if you want coordinated outdoor seating, a glass coffee table, and the option to adapt the arrangement to your space. The removable, washable cushion covers are a useful everyday-care feature, and the set’s stated weather-resistant construction may suit an outdoor setup. A more basic approach—buying only the pieces you need—could make more sense for a very small area or a specific layout. Since dimensions and seat capacity aren’t listed, measure first and don’t rely on the five-piece label alone to determine how much room it will occupy.
