Schneider NBFT80 Black Nitrile Exam Gloves, 5-Mil, Powder-Free

Made from 5-mil nitrile, Schneider NBFT80 gloves are black, disposable exam gloves with a powder-free, latex-free design. They’re listed in sizes Small through XL and are intended for exam use, food prep, cleaning, and other handling tasks where a disposable barrier is useful.

The non-sterile design is an important distinction: these gloves are for non-sterile exam and everyday tasks, not a substitute for sterile gloves when a sterile procedure requires them. Their nitrile construction is described as resistant to punctures, rips, and tears, while textured fingertips support grip when handling small items or working in wet conditions.

At a glance

These gloves are a practical alternative to reusable rubber gloves when you want a fresh pair for each task. The powder-free, latex-free material may suit people seeking to avoid loose powder or natural rubber latex, though the product information does not promise that every wearer will avoid irritation. The black color can help conceal visible stains during cooking, cleaning, tattoo work, or hair coloring.

Use them for food preparation, household cleaning, or handling tools and small items. For example, a pair can provide a disposable barrier while portioning ingredients, then be discarded before moving to another task. The product is described as food safe and tested for food-safety use, but the supplied details do not specify particular food-contact rules or conditions.

Buyers commonly praise the grip, comfort, and ease of putting the gloves on and taking them off. Some also describe using them for cleaning and food prep. Fit feedback is mixed: some find the sizing suitable for smaller hands, while others say the gloves run large, so choosing from the listed size range matters. It’s a great fit if you need disposable nitrile gloves for varied household or work tasks and prefer a powder-free, latex-free option.

How to take care of it

Store the gloves in a cool, dry place, protect them from sunlight, and keep the storage temperature at or below 30°C. These directions apply to storage rather than cleaning or reuse, the gloves are described as disposable, so they are intended to be changed rather than treated like reusable rubber gloves.

Practical tips

Choose a size from Small through XL based on the fit you need for the task. A closer fit can matter when handling instruments or small items, while food prep and general cleaning may call for a different balance of dexterity and comfort. Since buyer reports on sizing differ, don’t assume that feedback about one size will apply to another.

The 5-mil thickness and nitrile material are described as helping resist punctures and tears, but that is not a guarantee against damage from every object or chemical. The product information mentions resistance to many solvents without naming them, so it does not establish suitability for a specific chemical. It might not be a great match if your task requires sterile gloves or confirmed protection against a particular substance.

When it makes sense

Consider the Schneider NBFT80 when you want one disposable glove style for tasks such as food preparation, cleaning, or non-sterile exam use, rather than choosing separate gloves for each everyday activity. Multiple sizes and pack options are listed, which can help match the purchase to personal or frequent-use needs, the exact pack contents may vary. For sterile work or tasks that call for a specified chemical resistance, choose gloves explicitly rated for those requirements instead.
