On a damp fall outing or during light snow, the water-repellent outer layer and windproof design suit the conditions described for this coat. The snap closure helps make getting ready for a walk straightforward, and elastic edges at the legs and bottom are designed to help the coat sit snugly while your dog moves.

Buyers often describe the coat as warm and comfortable, and some appreciate the hood’s coverage around the neck and face. Feedback on sizing is mixed: some find it true to size, while others say it runs small. Reports about the snaps are also mixed, so take a moment to check that they are closed securely before heading out.

Practical tips

The Medium listing gives a neck size of 13 inches and a chest size of 16.15 inches. Measure your dog and compare those measurements with the product size chart before choosing a size, the product’s sizing guidance also recommends comparing your dog’s measurements with its chart. A well-matched fit helps the coat sit as intended while your dog walks and plays. When it needs cleaning, the care instructions say it is machine washable.

The leash hole is positioned at the neck, making it useful for routine walks when you want to keep the coat on. The hood and layered construction also make the jacket relevant for outdoor time in cooler fall and winter weather. Its solid blue color and classic dog-jacket shape keep the look simple for regular use.
