What it works with
This pickguard is designed to fit most LP-style electric guitars. That makes it a focused choice if you are replacing a guard on an LP-style instrument, rather than searching for a universal pickguard shape. Since guitars can vary in outline, compare your instrument with the product’s size diagram before purchase. Matching the shape is a practical way to choose a guard that suits the guitar you plan to use it on.
As a guitar pickguard, it sits on the instrument’s body in the area covered by the guard during playing. Its Black-3ply look gives the replacement a defined visual style, while the PVC material and listed thickness provide useful reference points when comparing options. The supplied screws are intended for mounting the pickguard, so the package brings together the guard and its stated fasteners.
Practical tips
Before fitting, compare the pickguard’s shape with the size diagram and the guard currently on your guitar. This is especially useful when replacing an existing part, because the LP-style label covers a range of instruments and the product is described as fitting most of them. Use the diagram as a shape reference for your intended guitar.
The pickguard has a protective plastic film. Peel it off before use to reveal the surface. Keep the included screws with the guard while preparing for installation, and follow the guitar’s normal care practices when working around its body. The 2.2 mm thickness, with a stated +/- 0.2 mm variation, is also useful to keep in mind when comparing the guard with your existing setup.
