Safuty1st SFT-B032 Kids’ Bike Helmet Set with Adjustable Fit and Protective Pads

Sized for a 18.9"–21.2" / 48–54 cm head circumference, the Safuty1st SFT-B032 is a kids’ helmet and protective pad set. Its adjustable helmet has a polycarbonate shell and foam interior, with knee, elbow, and wrist pads included. What makes it more engaging than a basic helmet? The 3D animal design gives the set a playful look, while the included bell and replacement liner add practical extras.

The size range and adjustment dial and chin strap give caregivers specific fit details to work with. Measure the child’s head and compare it with the stated range before choosing this Small version, an adjustable strap does not replace checking that the helmet sits securely. The product details state that the helmet and pads passed CPSC 1203 and ASTM 1447 certification. That is a listing claim, not a substitute for checking fit and using the protective gear as intended.

What it works with

The set is described for cycling, skateboarding, scooters, roller skating, and balance bikes. That makes it a bundled option for a child who switches among wheeled activities, rather than buying a helmet alone and sourcing each pad separately. For example, a family heading to a park with a balance bike or scooter can bring the helmet and matching knee, elbow, and wrist protection together. The included bell is designed to attach to a child’s bicycle.

The helmet has 8 vents, and the extra liner provides a replacement when the removable liner is being washed. Those details may be useful for regular outings, but the listing does not give a temperature rating or promise a particular level of comfort in every condition.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you’re looking for a coordinated helmet-and-pad set for a toddler or child whose head measurement falls within the Small range. The adjustable helmet and included pads cover several common wheeled activities, and the animal styling may appeal to kids who are less drawn to plain-looking gear. Buyers’ comments also describe the fit and appearance positively, with some noting that children liked the design.

You may want to skip it if the child’s head measurement is outside the stated Small range, or if you only need a helmet and would rather choose protective pads separately. The product details mention a Medium size as well, but this listing’s stated variant is Small, so confirm the selected size before purchase.

Buying verdict

The SFT-B032 is most compelling as a ready-made set: it combines a helmet, three pairs of pads, a bell, and a spare liner for cycling and other listed wheeled activities. Its main buying advantage over a helmet-only approach is having matching wrist, elbow, and knee protection included. The deciding factor is fit, not the adjustable feature alone—use the child’s head measurement against the listed range, then check that the helmet and pads sit securely. Choose this version when the Small dimensions fit and the full set is useful, if the child needs another size or you only want a helmet, a different configuration may be a better match.
