Product description
If your office or gaming chair needs a replacement lift, this Rythalix cylinder is designed for top-activated chairs with a standard 1-1/8-inch piston shaft. Its 5.5-inch travel range gives you room to adjust the seat height while keeping the repair focused on the chair’s lift mechanism.
The cylinder has a Class 4 design, alloy steel construction, and 360-degree rotation. It is made for indoor office use and is not compatible with side-activated chairs.
How to use it
Use this cylinder to replace the lift in a compatible top-activated office, desk, or gaming chair. Before choosing it, match your chair’s activation style and piston shaft to the fit requirements. The listed height range is 11 to 16.5 inches, with 5.5 inches of travel, use those measurements to compare the replacement with your current chair setup.
For installation, remove the cylinder’s top cover before use, then fit it to the chair according to the assembly instructions. The included component is the gas lift cylinder. A compatible replacement can be a practical route when the rest of the chair is still suitable for use, rather than replacing the entire chair.
Benefits
The adjustable height helps tailor a chair to a desk and seating position, while 360-degree rotation supports normal swiveling at a workstation. The cylinder is intended for office chairs as well as gaming and ergonomic chairs, giving it a useful role in restoring height adjustment without changing the chair’s overall setup.
Customer feedback often highlights functionality, fit, and height adjustment. Some buyers have mixed opinions about the length, so matching the stated travel range to the adjustment your chair needs is an important part of choosing the right replacement. If your current chair has a top-operated lift and the dimensions suit your setup, this part keeps the repair centered on the component responsible for raising and lowering the seat.
