Rhymo UP88A 88-Key Digital Piano with Hammer Action, 900 Tones and Bluetooth

The essentials

Weighted hammer-action keys with adjustable touch sensitivity give the Rhymo UP88A a responsive feel for practicing dynamics and building control across the keyboard. Its full-size 88-key layout supports familiar piano playing, while the furniture-style cabinet and soft-close lid let the instrument fit naturally into a living room or apartment.

The UP88A combines home-practice features with tools for learning and creating. Use its built-in stereo speakers for everyday playing, or connect the included monitoring headphones for quieter sessions.

Quick sizing guide

This is a full-size digital piano with 88 keys. The cabinet measures 12.4 inches deep, 53 inches wide, and 30.3 inches high, and the listed item weight is 24.49 kg. Its wood-grain cabinet includes a matching wooden stand and a lid that closes slowly and quietly with pneumatic damping. When closed, the piano presents as a console-style piece of furniture, open it when it is time to play.

The weighted hammer action and adjustable touch sensitivity make the keyboard relevant to players who want more control over how softly or firmly notes respond, rather than the lighter feel of a typical portable keyboard. The included triple pedals add foot control for piano playing.

Best use cases

For regular practice at home, the UP88A offers 900 tones, 700 rhythms, and 111 demo songs, along with a metronome, recording, and smart chord. Layer and split functions provide ways to explore different sounds and playing arrangements. Fifteen reverb types and dual 20W stereo speakers round out the built-in sound features.

For lessons or app-based learning, Bluetooth MIDI and audio support wireless connections, while USB MIDI provides a wired connection option. The manufacturer lists Simply Piano, Flowkey, Yousician, and Skoove among the compatible learning apps. A music rest and keyboard stickers are included, giving players useful accessories for following sheet music and identifying keys as they practice.

A practical home session might involve following a demo song or lesson, switching to the metronome for focused timing practice, then using the included headphones when a quieter setup is preferred. The package also includes an adapter, triple pedals, monitoring headphones, a music sheet holder, keyboard stickers, and a cleaning cloth.

Should you buy it?

The Rhymo UP88A suits beginners who want a full-size weighted keyboard and built-in learning features, as well as more experienced players looking for a home piano with multiple sounds, rhythms, and recording tools. Its cabinet, wooden stand, and soft-close lid make it a more furniture-oriented choice than a standalone portable keyboard, while Bluetooth and USB MIDI offer practical ways to connect for lessons and music-making. Choose it for a dedicated home practice setup that brings weighted keys, built-in speakers, pedals, and a broad selection of tones together in one digital piano.
