Best use cases

At 5 x 7 x 0.75 inches, the medium-size Refresh Sports ST2004 is a compact foam glider for hands-on play at home or outdoors. Its camo military theme gives imaginative aviation and army games a clear starting point, while the EVA foam format keeps the plane lightweight for easy handling.

Why it makes sense

This glider offers an uncomplicated alternative to battery-powered flying toys: play centers on assembling, launching, and steering a lightweight plane rather than operating powered controls. Its compact dimensions make it easy to bring along for an outdoor outing, and its foam construction suits casual flight play where kids can take turns and invent their own missions. Indoors, it can add an aviation-themed activity to a play session when there is room to fly it.

The product is designed to glide, with the listing describing flights of up to 100 feet. Actual play can vary: buyers praise the fun, easy assembly, and foam durability, while feedback about how well or how far the planes fly is mixed. Some buyers also find the planes smaller than they expected, so the listed dimensions are useful when choosing a glider for a particular play space.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a military-themed toy that encourages active, hands-on play without batteries. It also works as a small gift for kids who enjoy planes, outdoor games, and taking turns with friends or family.

Before you decide

Does the glider need batteries? No. It operates manually, and batteries are not required.

What parts are included for assembly? The listed components are the body, wing, and tail, which form the foam glider.

What age is it recommended for? The manufacturer-recommended age is 4 years and up, making it suitable for children within that age guidance.
