rabbitgoo DGMJTZ01LBK25CW-EU Step-In Dog Harness and Leash Set, Black Mesh

Some dog walkers want a vest-style harness that is quick to put on. Others need more coverage and adjustability for a different fit. This rabbitgoo set is a step-in option with a matching leash and reflective details.

The black L size is listed for a neck girth of 14.1–16.3 inches and a chest girth of 18.2–20.5 inches. Those measurements matter more than a general breed label when choosing a fit.

Its hook-and-loop closure, plastic buckle, and two D-rings give the harness several points of connection and closure. The set also includes a 5.12-foot leash.

Worth noting

The step-in design is intended to make putting the vest on and taking it off straightforward. An adjustable hook-and-loop panel helps customize the fit, while the buckle and two D-rings are part of the harness’s secure-walking design. Reflective bands add visibility details, and the soft air mesh is described as lightweight and breathable. The leash has an anti-tangle clip and a padded handle.

For a practical walk, the coordinated harness and leash can be used together around the neighborhood or at a dog park. This is a harness-based setup rather than attaching a leash to a collar, that distinction may matter to people choosing how to connect their dog on walks. The listed guidance says to leave room for one or two fingers when measuring and to choose the larger size if between sizes. It also says the L size is not recommended for large dogs.

Buyer feedback is generally favorable about ease of putting it on, comfort, and how securely it stays in place. Sizing comments are mixed, though: some buyers say it fits as expected, while others find it runs small. Treat those impressions as a reason to use the stated neck and chest measurements rather than relying on a breed name alone.

How to take care of it

The care instructions specify hand washing only. That is the stated cleaning method for the nylon, metal D-ring, and plastic-buckle harness, so it is not a set to put through a machine wash based on the provided guidance. Let the harness dry before the next walk, particularly if it has been exposed to wet conditions, the material is described as quick-dry, but no drying time is specified.

Who it’s for

This L size is intended for dogs whose neck and chest measurements fall within the listed ranges. The product information names medium dogs and gives smaller breeds such as Beagles, Corgis, and Cavapoos as examples when their measurements meet the size requirements. It suits you if you want a step-in vest with a leash included and prefer measuring for fit rather than choosing by breed alone.

Better avoided if you need a harness intended for a large dog: the listing specifically says this size is not recommended for large dogs. A collar-and-leash setup may also make more sense for someone who does not want a vest-style harness. The available details do not provide a range of adjustment beyond the listed neck and chest measurements.

How should the harness be cleaned? Hand wash only, according to the care instructions.

Should you buy it?

Choose this set if your dog’s measurements match the L size and you want a step-in mesh vest paired with a leash for everyday walks. Its reflective bands, multiple closure elements, and included leash make it a defined alternative to a basic collar setup. If the measurements are close to the edge of the range, the mixed sizing feedback makes careful measuring especially relevant, for a large dog, the product’s own guidance points elsewhere.
