QDYU QDYU971861 Dog Hoodie, Gray XXL Brushed Fleece with Pocket

A casual layer and a weatherproof coat solve different needs. The QDYU QDYU971861 is a gray, hooded fleece sweatshirt for dogs, with a solid design and a pocket. It’s intended for everyday wear, not wet-weather protection. For a dog that needs a soft layer for a walk or time at home, the fabric and care details are useful starting points.

What stands out

The hoodie is made from 100% polyester fleece and described as lightweight, with a brushed, soft interior. A hood and pocket give it the look of a sweatshirt rather than a plain sweater. The pocket may suit small items such as treats or toys, though the product details don’t specify its dimensions or carrying capacity.

Buyer feedback is positive about softness, appearance, and warmth for cooler outings, while opinions on fabric quality and ease of putting it on are mixed. Durability feedback is also divided: some buyers find it holds up, while others report pilling after limited use. These are individual impressions, not a guarantee of how a particular garment will perform. If your dog is sensitive to clothing that clings, that mixed feedback is worth weighing before choosing it.

Quick overview

• Type: Hooded dog sweatshirt
• Size: XX-Large
• Color: Gray
• Material: 100% polyester fleece
• Pattern: Solid
• Features: Lightweight, pocket
• Care: Machine wash

How to take care of it

The stated care method is machine washing, which makes routine cleaning straightforward. No washing temperature, drying method, or special instructions are provided, so avoid assuming that heat or a particular cycle is suitable. The fleece construction and machine-washable care make it practical for regular casual use, but the reported pilling means buyers who prioritize long-term fabric appearance may want to consider that feedback alongside their dog’s activity level.

For fit, measure your dog rather than relying only on a size label or a previous purchase. The product advises checking neck, chest, and back length, but its supplied neck measurements conflict: one listing gives 12.5 inches, while the XXL sizing details give 25 inches. The chest measurement is listed as 36 inches, and the XXL sizing details give a 30-inch back length. Because of that discrepancy, the neck fit is not clear from the information provided.

What to clarify

Which measurements are listed for XXL? The sizing details give a 36-inch chest and 30-inch back length. The neck measurement is inconsistent across the supplied product information, so use the size chart and your dog’s measurements before deciding.

Can it be used in rain or snow? It is explicitly listed as not water-resistant. It may work as a casual layer in cool, dry conditions, but it isn’t described as protection from wet weather.

How is it cleaned? The listed care instruction is machine wash. Further washing and drying directions aren’t provided.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you want a lightweight, hooded fleece layer for casual wear and value having a pocket as part of the design. Buyer impressions suggest many appreciate its softness and look, but the mixed reports on fit, fabric, and pilling make sizing and expectations important. It’s not for you if you need water resistance or want a clearly documented neck measurement for the XXL before purchase. For a dog that needs weather protection rather than a soft sweatshirt, a water-resistant layer is the more relevant type of choice.
