ProCase PC-08367058 Switch 2 Grip Case with Foldable Handles, Red & Blue

A basic protective shell prioritizes coverage, the ProCase PC-08367058 adds a grip-focused shape and a screen cover for handheld play. It is made for the 7.9-inch 2025 Switch 2, with foldable handles intended to let the case stay on when switching between handheld and docked use.

That makes it most relevant to players who want a more substantial hold without removing the case to change modes. Its red-and-blue finish also gives the console a distinct look, while the hard-shell and TPU construction combines two materials in one case.

How to use it

Fit the case to a compatible 2025 Switch 2 and use the foldable handles for handheld sessions. The product information says the case leaves buttons and ports accessible, and that it can remain on when docking. That could simplify switching between a portable setup and a docked one, although buyer feedback on dock fit is mixed: some say it fits, while others describe the fit as very tight. If docking is part of your routine, that uncertainty matters more than it would for someone who mostly plays in handheld mode.

The screen cover is part of the protective design, and the case is described as slim and lightweight. Do you want added grip as well as scratch coverage? That combination is the main distinction from a simpler shell that protects the console but does not add foldable handles. The case is not water resistant, so it should not be treated as protection against spills or wet conditions.

Why it makes sense

The form is aimed at everyday handheld use rather than protection alone. The foldable grip can give your hands a more defined place to hold, and some buyers specifically like the grip, including those who say it works well for larger hands. Buyers also praise the appearance and report that the case helps protect against scratches. These are customer impressions, not a guarantee of how the case will feel or perform for every player.

Its compatibility is specific: this case is listed for the 7.9-inch 2025 Switch 2. That makes the model detail important when choosing a case, particularly if you own a different console version. It’s a great fit if you want a grip-oriented case that stays on during handheld and docked transitions. Not the best choice if a consistently easy dock fit is essential, given the differing reports about how tightly it fits.

Should you buy it?

Choose this ProCase when handheld comfort and an integrated grip are priorities, and you want a case designed to stay on as you move between play modes. The screen cover, hard-shell construction, and TPU component give it a more involved protective format than a plain cover, while the foldable handles are the feature that most clearly shapes how it is used. If your main requirement is a trouble-free fit in the dock, the mixed fit reports make that a point to weigh before choosing it. For primarily handheld play, the grip-focused design is a more central benefit.
